Cannot Wait For Tiger Woods 2005 - Online... Sweet!

    http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/243593.asp

September 20th. - I will be buying two copies, one for me and one for a buddy... it will probably be his first online game on X-Box... By the way... I owe him a game...

I will probably play that game all winter... along with ESPN NFL2K5

Tiger Proofing seems like a great feature, especially to be able to take online, but after having Links last year I don't think I can see myself buying Tiger, I'll end up just continuing to play Links 04.

One thing I think EA really dropped the ball on is just 2 players online. I don't hook up with more than 2 that often in Links, but it's a nice option when you want to go with 4.

Hopefully the analog swing has been adjusted so that its more sensitive this time around. And its harder to shoot underpar. If Tiger proofing turns TW into Ocean Mill Directors Cut then I don't think many will enjoy it. But if it narrows the fairway, puts a realistic amount of break in the greens and raises the rough, I can see online tournements getting pretty fun.

Fetter, and you are right, TW needed four people to be online. It would be sweet to get some Ryder Cup action going.

<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">For Tiger proofing you can actually narrow the fairway as much as you'd like, well I think you have to leave at least about a yard of fairway, and you can also raise up hills and stuff I believe. You edit the courses in the game like this to make them as difficult, and probably as easy, as you'd like. Although I'm not sure if you can make the holes easier I don't remember trying to do that at E3.

That's good news. If the swing is still too forgiving then atleast Tiger proofing can be a way to make shooting par more difficult.

                            I'm very excited about TW.
