Re: QMotion Golf Simulator
Man! You'll have to let us know how it is when you get it. When I first read that article at IGN.com I started drooling!
I'd get one except where my computer resides would afford me the clearance to swing any golf club safely...
I showed that article to my cousin's husband who's an avid avid golfer and he wanted one, too. -

Re: QMotion Golf Simulator
It seems pretty realistic so far. Haven;t played it as much as I would like. A couple problems though, the base does now weigh enough. It jumps off the ground when I hit the ball and sometimes the ball will get stuck at top and if you do not knock it down right away it will calculate your next shot as a little tapper when you do bring it down. The putting is decent, i mean putting is so much feel so its much harder to get it right. There are three different heights for the ball. the slice is not that realistic but it can be somewhat accurate with toe and heel hits. But if you hit it solid it goes. Hard to hit out of rough and sand because it only tells you whether the rough is light medium or heavy, and if the ball is buried or on top of the sand. The Qmotion lets you hit three kinds of shots, full, chip or putt. If you have an extra $190 it is definitely worth it to mess around on all the great courses in the game. There is a special on ecost.com for 190 for the next day. But I got it for 200 on ecost. It is 250 or more everywhere else. Come back and tell us what you think if you ever get it. It really is a cool piece of new technology, I play it on my laptop out on my porch so there is room. You can either select the club on the computer and hit with a PW or you can use the whole bag, but you still have to change the club on the computer.
sorry these thoughts were random but i was just typing what came to my mind. Good Luck if you get it or try it out somehwereComment
