    PGA talk

WOW, just looking over the scores and K.J. Choi has opend up with 5 consecutive birdies

Tiger, playing the back 9 first, opened with a birdie but followed it up with a Double Bogey on the par 5 11th. Then on 12 a 148 yard par 3 he lost another stoke to par and sits at +2 through 3

I'm going to try and stay away from this thread until tonight. I was checking in on a live scoreboard, but I don't want anything to spoil the 2pm telecast on TNT.

It looks like today will be the round to shoot low, and Tiger's digging himself a hole already.

I think you will have to wait for a complete round to see if today is the day to go low. Looking over the leaderboard it seems the lower scores are coming from players who started on the front 9. So maybe at the turn things will get more bunched up

The wind conditions throughout the day are going to effect things too.

I'm not sure if this is the first time I've watched golf on CBS or what, but it seemed like the coverage of the event today was much better than I've seen on any other event. That could also have something to do with the fact that I don't watch that much golf.

Just as Leonard was about to line up his last putt, my CBS station cut to Broncos preseason football. : Now I guess I get to follow the playoff online. But, on the bright side, I don't miss any of this vitally important football game.

Excellent play by Vijay. I enjoy seeing him win.
