    Tiger Woods 2005: Release Date

I don't know if its announced, or if this is a duplicate thread, but when is it due out?

    I'm looking to buy it.

I usually buy TW every year, and it seems that with each year, I get tired of it faster. Unless they do something with the game that makes it harder, or more like the real game of golf...I think I'll pass on it this year. I can do without all the fluff. I'd rather play a realistic golf game. While Links may not be entirely realistic, it's enjoyable enough to hold me over until a newer version is released.

I know what you mean sully, i waited and bought it for 15 bucks at Best Buy. Its reallly arcadey, and get very boring quickly. In hte pc version my guy drives it on average 355 yards without wind, and my scoring average is 57.7. In a tournament recently i was 62 under par and the next closest person was 16 under par. I've also played the ps2 version when i went to visit my cousins, and though i didn't get as far in career mode, its not realistic if you can give yourself extra power boosts on your backswing and control the spin of the ball while its in the air.
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

                Bingo.
I'll play my 0 skill point tourney's in Links and have a great time, with a scoring average of about 68.

Don't get me wrong, there are some things I like about the TW franchise. I just wish EA would get away from all the arcade crap and give us a real golf sim.

Yeah the career mode and game face is really cool, but it just shouldn't be so arcadey. I hope they fix that, but it doesn't look like they will instead they will give you the option to make the courses tougher. Plus they are taking out all but 3 courses and adding 11 new ones.

I think I may be happy keeping Links. As I recall Tiger will only allow 2 at a time online, not too often do I play foursomes, but still nice to have the option.
