Just a quick off screen video, EA also shared it. Not are how to post it here. But the one thing I was impressed with were the crowds look a lot better then last gen.

More follow camera goodness.... (blech!) Oh how I'd love to see some more video from a player perspective oriented presentation!

It would be nice if EA allowed a number of camera options.

I played 11 the other day using True-Aim where the camera stayed behind the golfer after the shot and didn't move at all. I couldn't even see where the ball landed or finished up. I prefer the Follow Cam from 12.

EA should allow you to see what you want and allow me to watch the action the way I like.

Custom cameras would be nice, but I really don't see the problem with the follow cam. It shows exactly what I want to see, which is an overhead view of the balls flight path. It shows me just how well, or not well, really, my draws and fades are.

More options are good, but I have trouble understanding how that view makes the game unplayable for some.

Maybe "unplayable" is a bit of an over-statement, but it hinders my enjoyment of a game to a great extent. The reasons are many, but the primary one is that it's a view that completely takes you out of any faux-realism the game is trying to offer. You see that view neither in real life, nor on TV. It just makes it automatically seem like an arcade game, like "Golden Tee" or something. You want to see the ball flight in a realistic manner - aka from your golfer's perspective, and then potentially a snap-to-reverse for the landing (like on TV).

Do you really not see how your draws/fades look from the golfer perspective camera? I can see how my shots look pretty well in real life from that angle....

The ONLY reason Ball Cam is in the game at all is due to the Amateur arcade features introduced in 2003/2004. It is there so casual users can add boost and spin after shot to guide shots into the hole. I wish EA would disable that option in Simulation / Tour mode. They won't show TV-style cameras because their Marketing folks seem to believe simulation features of any kind won't sell units. Especially after the commercial disaster of TW14. Great game (embraced by Simulation fans) except for the lack of post launch support and patches, but collosal failure financially. And the Simulation feature was marketed also on the back of the box. I don't understand why EA is so conservative when it comes to simulation features.....

Links had a snap to reverse over 10 years ago on the XBox don't know why EA couldn't incorporate that now especially in a next gen title.

I sure hope that he was playing arcade level because the backswing was allowed to come to a complete stop for a noticeable pause, allowing the swing meter to fill up before the follow through.

That could be alot more concerning than any camera angles.

It's actually not even worth showing. It's just a very quick 15-20 second off screen video of Rory playing Sawgrass 17 hitting just a tee shot, not even a full hole. It's off screen, so you can't even really see any detail...

All you said was "EA has it as well". So, I went to EA's site and it wasn't there. I googled it too and nothing came up. You didn't say anything about their FB page.

Well with the lack of footage that has been put out. I thought it was nice to see some raw gameplay even though it's only thirteen seconds I thought was worth posting. Dont do that man. We appreciate the posts. Anything new is good. I'm just saying in all honesty this particular video isn't worth trying to show or link to here because it doesn't show much. But please, if you find new things, by all means, continue to contribute.

It is an issue of choice, not capability. TW '08 had that as well. The last Tiger console engine struggled mightily with camera angles (don't ask me why) which is why I'm hopeful that Frostbite 3 doesn't have those issues. It shouldn't.
