    Buying decisions

Just curious what the demographic is for the difference in people who like to buy digital VS physical. (you dont have to explain why, but if you wish, then by all means....)
    18
    Digital
    0%
    8
    Physical
    0%
    10

    The poll is expired.

I rent physical games, but if I'm buying it's usually digital nowadays.

Physical all day... 48.00 over 60.00
Plus ability to trade/sell when I am done/new version comes.. but mainly the $ difference.

Digital. Love not having to get up and change disk.
To each his/her own when this debate comes up. Whatever works for the buyer.

Physical always. Like being able to get the most out of my dollar because 9 times out of 10, I end up trading in the game at some point.

Physical because I'm old-school. I like to have something in hand when I shell out $. It's part of the experience for me.

                Re: Buying decisions

Starting last gen, I went digital for sports games. It's what I play the most, and I love being able to just boot up whatever game I'm in the mood for. I usually get my wife physical games, because when she plays, it's usually just one. I just leave that in the tray for her.

And really, I go digital on just about everything else now, too. While many complain about the XB1 UI, I love having all my games right there to choose from. I don't stare at my shelf for a game to play, I look at my dashboard. Then i just click it the game I want.

Seems insane it took this long for that to be a thing on consoles, when I have been doing this for ages on the computer.

                    Re: Buying decisions

I have been buying digital more and more lately and it's been a bit of a godsend for me because in the past, I'd trade the physical copies of games in too soon, and then I'd get the urge to dive back in and not have the game anymore.

I will definitely need to swap out my PS4 HD very soon as I'm at my limit but the thought of redownloading everything is making my head spin and encouraging a little procrastination.
