I didn't take offense at all. I think most of agree, there could be more modes available to please a greater variety of people. Maybe someone from EA will see these posts and get on board with us? It's amazing how developers for The Show not only view the posts, they respond to them with honest answers and even implement changes in the game based on the forums discussions. Maybe that's why The Show is so successful?

Being able to play as a pro thru a tour season in not a game breaker. It would just be a nice option to have. People play and enjoy these games in different ways. It would be nice if EA could configure this title to appeal to as many playing styles as possible. They do it in their other games. If I want myself to QB the Pats I can do it. If I want to play a season with real players I can also do that. It seems like an easy fix to make this game more appealing to everyone? Based on their initial trailer, they have something for those who like to drop bombs on golf courses, just maybe they could also have something for those of us who want to play as an existing pro? I get the title every year and will do so again. I create my own existing pro, build up his attributes to match what I think they'd be based on the pros they give you, then play a season. It's the best I can do but I bothers me when created Tiger is on the leader board along with real Tiger!!!

It is a gamebreaker to me. I don't want to quarterback the Patriots, play guard for the Warriors, etc.

Every other major sports EA title allows this but golf. It is a shame and completely removes me from the realism and immersion of the game.

It is a gamebreaker to me. I don't want to quarterback the Patriots, play guard for the Warriors, etc.

You'd rather play half a season with a pro and a handful of tournaments/courses?

Career mode seems even more basic than the last version. This time they plop you into the last tourney of the web tour where I guess that as long as you shoot a decent round, you're automatically make it onto the PGA tour.

I tend to agree with Seymour, the beginning of career mode is beyond lame. However not a deal breaker for me as most of my career is spent on the PGA tour anyway.

I'm more concerned about things like the wind differential between human and CPU players, circus pin placements for round four and that sort of stuff.

Not sure where that came from.

I'd rather have a real PGA Tour Season (or as many they can manufacture from a course situation) and be a real golfer. I'd like to be as close to reality as possible...just like Madden, NBA Live, etc from a season/pro perspective.

I know it's not a big deal to most people, but I appreciate having a lot of clothing options.

I really enjoyed all the old time Scenarios in TW14 (Lee Trevino, Gary Player, etc). I hope they have something like this here.

Personally I'm an equipment junkie just like in real life golf so being able to play with real life golf equipment is a big draw for me. I now TW had it too but it was broken where you always had to go back and re-choose your equipment if you played online.

What is this quick round stuff? I don't want to play 4 rounds in the period of time I play 1.. I want to play all 4 rounds normally.

Was there a post or thread about the cameras? Just want to try and see if we will have option to watch ball flight from golfer perspective. Any word on that?

Since I know this won't be a part of an official marketing release, and we already shared the base info on gameplay, I will assume I won't get in trouble for answering this question...

In our Presentation Settings for the game, you have the following camera options:
- Tee to Green Camera: Follow or Pro
- Putting Camera: Follow or Pro

The Follow cam gives you the traditional camera that follows the ball completely through its flight. The Pro camera will watch flight from the perspective of the golfer. In the case of the Tee to Green Camera on Pro, the camera will watch the ball from the golfer and then snap to the ball's landing spot right before it lands. For the putting Camera on Pro, the camera will watch the ball from the golfer the entire time, with no cut to the finish.

The settings are local and will function the way you want in any mode you go into, even online matches, as your presentation doesn't affect your gameplay so it is perfectly fine for 2 users playing each other to have different presentation cams in use.

Not sure if you'll see this or not. But will there be a presentation blog before e3? There looks to be some really cool cutscenes and would like to know what is exactly in the game outside of the two new comentators.
