Well, I got my first ever hole-in-one today at the Robert Trent Jones Ridge Course here in Birmingham. It was a 129 yard par 3 with a 30 yard elevation drop. My 8 iron was all over the flag, hit about 3 feet in front of the hole and bounced twice and went in. What a feeling!!!! Just wanted to share my experience!

I have 1 hole-in-one as well. I got it 3 years ago with a PW on an 129 yard par 3. Not a real scenic hole> just flat with a couple bunkers surrounding the green.Actually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. ShaverComment

Congrats! Closest I've ever gotten was about 4ft from the hole. Make sure you take that golf ball and frame it.
