Steve, I'm pretty sure now that EA Sports won't be willing to disclose this until after both versions have been released, the idea being that if fence sitting XB1 version impulse buyers might back down if they hear that the PS4 version is running at a higher resolution. I find it interesting to see how differently publishers handle information about resolutions and frame rates on their respective games.

I had originally ordered my copy for the XBX1, but just cancelled it in favor of the Sony version since i own both consoles. There have been too many instances where the Sony version has run a bit better and smoother. I also play pretty much all my other games on the XBX1 so this will at least help me get some use out of the PS4.Comment

Re: Rory McIlroy PGA Tour: 1080p @ 60 FPS on both consoles?
I have a sneaky suspicion EA Sports is protecting Microsoft and XB1 here as it relates to resolution and frame rate and that's why it's hasn't been released which console runs better. After all, MS does support EA early access and Sony does not, so it would behoove them to protect a business partner and their pre-orders.

If so, this would be a critical variable in managing the twitchy "tempo" component of the current RMPGAT swing interface!

I didn't get to see any of the Dev team live, and have only seen about 15 minutes of the recorded version... I don't recon that they fielded any questions about resolution or frame rates based on the softball questions that they were answering during the period I watchedDuke Football? Okay, well let me ask you this if you saw the whole thing... did you learn anything from what you saw and heard that's not already out there on the vine? I'm just curious to know if they made any mention about what might be coming in the day one patch.Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Game is 900p on Xbox One and 1080p on PS4, just like other FB engine games. Unfortunately you can rely only on your sight because nobody will tell you that. Shame EA Sports keep the mouth shut about this, clearly move to lighten Microsoft side.Comment
