Sorry if this has been asked, but I am in my phone. How do you start your career? I went through the prolouge and played a play it now 18 hole round. Should I be seeing something different?

Once the prologue and initial 18 hole round with rory are over, you should be able to access the main menu. Then just click on pro career and create a golfer

Do you have to play with rory on all three swing styles against Kaymer? Have to beat him?

Interesting. I have gone through the tutorial twice and one 18 hole round. No main menu option...

Has the trial completed downloaded? Some things don't show up until it is 100% done.

It said 100 percent...just went through the prolouge again, and played another play now round. I am officially baffled. Not a good start if they want my money! Lol

It's because it's not totally downloaded. So either something screwed up while downloading or its not done yet. You said it was 100 percent so you might have to delete it and re download.

Awesome. I guess it did not say 100%, rather Ready to play. I have had it on for over five hours, so I know it had time to download. Has to be something not downloaded right. Really stinks wasting all of this time.

Two more days of work...paid off my preorder today by turning in TW 14 and hardline lol surprising got $13 for the old TW game I was shocked...can't wait for Teusday to finally get my own first impressions

I've been playing the trial with no commentary. I tried re-downloading with no success. Oh well

I hope you guys are ok that buy it on good faith they will fix a lot of these big issues, I'm not that optimistic that will happen. I am just going to have to pass on this year's game, maybe if they do really improve on it I will pick it up for $20 or so. For now I'm content playing older TW games on PS3 and TGC.

This year's game will be the only game for a while. It's not a yearly title.

Don't know if you got it figured out and it just had not downloaded??


but I did notice at first that I didn't see that the main menu is always available from within any mode at any time (first game I have ever seen doing that? Madden/Fifa maybe?) where you could start a new session by pausing and choosing another game play mode. I kept looking for an exit or main menu button and it was there all along as the main screen over top of the tutorial and or a match.


It's pretty cool actually. But I spent a couple minutes trying to figure put how to start a career or match from tutorial. cause my time was ticking away.

Yeah I know, if I have to wait until 2017 or later for the next game then so be it. I'm not going to buy it just because it will be the only one for a long time.
