No problem. Yes the main game is digital. It costs double as getting it on disk these days but I'm all in 100% on digital.Comment

Re: What golf game is the best for career?
I picked up TW14 for PS3 at a local video game exchange shop for $20 so even though I preferred digital I was not willing to pay 3x as much for it, especially when I wasn't sure if I'd like it. I will say that it feels eerily similar to RM2015 for sure. Other than the GUI the swing mechanics off the tee feel similar. That is to say I can drive and hit about the same in both games with little confusion.
I will say that TW is less forgiving and I have more errant tee shots for sure. The putting is better in TW also.....It just "feels" better to me and I enjoy this aspect. I haven't started a tour yet so I cannot really say how the career mode it but on the surface this game looks sooooo much deeper than RM2015 for sure.
Having said all of this I am leaning towards just playing RM2015 despite it's shortcomings and sadly....a big reason is the load times on TW2014 really turn me off. I have to wait so long between each hole I get impatient. I suppose if RM2015 wasn't so quick between holes I wouldn't mind but now I am used to moving through 18 holes pretty quickly.
Anyway....thanks for all the input. I'm still not 100% which one I am going to play.Comment

Re: What golf game is the best for career?
As great as this game is on the course, the waiting times are as slow as any game I've played. It tests your patience for sure but if you can get over that you have 25 different courses to play from (on masters, even more if you bought a course pack). In RM I'm sure in career mode you'd have to use the same course at least 2-3 times per season but in Tiger 14 you are using a different course every time with maybe an exception or two. Also, I believe Tiger 14 is more deep in that it allows you to see your golf ranking, your past tournement results, and your calendar. I own a PS4 and I refuse to get EA Golf 15 with it's shallow features, I instead will hold on to a deep and fun game in Tiger 14 Masters Historic Edition.
I agree about the wait times. I played an 18 hole round at St. Andrews a few minutes ago and did not notice much difference in the time with what that same round would have taken me on TW14.
Also, the weather thing in the career or in play now for that matter. It sucks that I basically pre-pick the weather for each round of the tournament. Seriously, EA, no real-time weather. TW 14 still has real-time weather because I played the windy Open Championship this weekend.
And yes, the same course two or three times in a season, times three seasons that I have already played equals, I've seen enough of some of these courses already.
I'm sure EA will release one course every three or four months.....if that.Comment
