Am hearing 3 click is the most difficult way to play this game, what a dud, cancelling preorder unless they patch in a true sim mode, this game may be worse than nhl2015 this thing is getting ripped, what a downer after 14 sim mode was so good, next gen disaster

Not true about 3-click being harder.....if you refuse to listen to those of us who are telling you there is a simulation there, then don't waste your time or ours. Game is getting ripped for missing content (courses, Golfers, etc) but it plays a good game of PGA TOUR Golf.

IMO, a similar feature like the Strike meter in TW14 would be helpful, but also I think that L>R and R>L mis-hit penalties could be implemented to increase as the difficulty of the shot and length of club taken into account.....

Have to agree with this. When I first started TW14, I couldn't figure out the disappearing red dot, but eventually picked it up. Now, I'm missing that disappearing red dot, aka analog fade.

And, agree that L/R and R/L mi****s need to be increased. Even on the hardest level (Tour), it's way too easy to hit the FWs. To me, it's too arcade like even on Tour.

And, I've been chipping in about 4 out of every 5 with the LW on Tour difficulty.

Further, (again on Tour difficulty) you can control distance almost exactly on partial swing shots (partial wedge shots) as all you do is adjust the marker for the distance you want, then make a couple test backswings to see when the green dot (swing meter) fills up. Then, hit that swing, and the ball goes right by the hole. The swing meter (green circle meter) needs to go away.

However, I disagree with your post above this one that this is a "good game of PGA golf." I don't see that at all for the reasons above and more. At least yet.

How would you say it is compared to 14 on the hardest difficulty settings , if it is even remotely comparable in terms of difficulty I really want to give it a go, been waiting foever for this game. Have you played any rounds with any max difficulty if so what was your score relative to par

Rent it, then determine for yourself. I have had rounds of 61 and 63 with my CAG but that was in Season mode with average conditions and almost no wind. Pump up the challenge with fast greens and winds 8-12 MPH and higher and I think you would be damn close to TW14. You also need to give the game about 20-30 rounds to get the feel of the interface as it is different than Tiger, especially since we now have a true Tempo component.

There is absolutely no comparison to TW14 simulation mode. TW14 wins sim and difficulty in a real blowout over this game.

ok great thanks for the response i see you all over the golf forums so i trust your opinion, sounds like max difficulty, toughest course conditions and forcing myself ot hit draws and fades on all but short shots might do the trick , thanks so much i am starting to feel a little better now, thank you

At the end of the day, it really doesn't matter what I tell you or others which is why I recommend you rent it if you can't buy and return for full refund.....Goo Luck!
