    Where is Career modes?

I am disappointed with Rory 2015. After wining the Prologue and playing a round of golf, that appears to be all the options you have in this game. Such a waste. has anyone else figured out if there is more then two game modes? If so where are they. I see only a play option with two modes, prologue and play now.

Been playing Career Mode all through EA Access and today...it is there. If you don't see it, your game is likely not through downloading/installing.

It's not done installing. Even though it does the pre-install, it lets you launch and play while it finishes installing behind the scenes. I only had Play Now and Prologue after it installed, and I decided to just let it finish.

If you only have play now and prologue as the tiles, it's still doing that long behind-the-scenes install.

Shouldn't be that long. I've had people tell me that it requires you to play the initial 18 to get to the game, so maybe that's the problem you're having. Like it's forcing you to finish the US Open before it gets to the rest of the game?

On the HOME screen you have across the top:

              Home
              Play
              Settings
              Extras

Below that are 4 quadrants with Plan Now top left, Pro Career bottom left, Night Club Challenge bottom right and the top right varies between features.

Below that is A) Select X) Switch Profiles and Y) Log into EA Servers

If you aren't seeing that, your game is either not installed completely or you need to delete and reinstall.

Do you have to play the prologue and 18 holes?

When I started it up from a disc after it did its initial install, I only had the same two tiles. I know the quad you're talking about, but I didn't see it either. I can't confirm it's an installation issue until I get home later, but I skipped the tutorial garbage since I already had 26 hours played in EA Access. Maybe that's what gave me the same 2 options, too. But I don't think it's a case of him just missing it. It's not there.

                      Re: Where is Career modes?

From HANDSWARD on the EA RM forums:

For those of you that are only seeing 2 menu options in the game, it is because the game has not completed the install and you are in the pre-installed version of the game that has limited features. I know this can be frustrating on PS4 because there is no progress bar of any sort to show you how it is doing and if you go to your storage it is going to say the full size of the game there cause that is what it says as soon as it starts installing. So here are a few things you should keep in mind:

                      - The game takes ~40 to 60 minutes to install while nothing is running on the console.
                      - If you suspend or shut down your console the install will stop.
                      - If you are playing the game or using other applications while the install is taking place then your install can be greatly slowed down.
                      - If you are downloading the game then the process will be even longer cause you have to download all 29 GB and install it all too.
                      - Make sure you have enough HD space to fit the game on your HD.

My best advice is to let the game install and leave your console running at the consoles menu. Go away, let it be, come back in an hour and boot the game up.

If you are still having issues having done all of this then please contact EA Customer Support for further assistance.

Thanks. That could be why mine took forever....trying to play those holes while it installed.

The game launches on its own when is done installing. I will delete and start over and give it time. I will see if that fixes it.

Never knew a game to launch on its own. But again, these do a "pre-install", which is the progress bar you see on the main PS4 home screen, and then a background install, where it installs all content. Many games give you a bare bones version for pre-install, and then they take 30 minutes to an hour to install the full application.

In this case, you're getting a bare bones install of a bare bones game.

That's the Pre-Install that launches the game when it's completed - it's the only reason you're able to play the game at all that soon. The game limits you to a handful of options while it fully installs, then opens everything else up once it's done.

I don't have the game and even I know this from 2 years of Show games installing exactly like this while only allowing you to play a single exhibition game (although it kinda sucks if there's no progress bar like Handsward was saying).
