Re: Differences in ps4 and Xbox version
Every report I've read and private message I've received from gamers who have played both versions say that the PS4 version looks better, as in higher resolution graphics, and 5 out of 6 say that it suffers from less choppiness. Only 2 of the 6 have felt that the game played differently because of what they perceive to be smoother frame rates on the PS4.
[EDIT: I've read one since posting this that says he sees "no real difference between the two"]
EA Sports has not come out and officially disclosed the resolutions and frame rates of the two versions, nor have they responded to specific questions concerning this information here, nor in the official Rory McIlroy PGA Tour forum. I think there's a reason why they haven't done so...
Based on the information I've been able to collect from players of both, I've decided that I'm going to go with the PS4 version when I buy the game. There are some other areas of the game that are show-stroppers for me. I suspect EA Sports is working on these right now and once the game has been updated to address them, I'll be on board with the PS4 version.Last edited by OnlookerDelay; 07-20-2015, 10:09 AM.Duke Football? Re: Differences in ps4 and Xbox version
If you have both consoles and can't decide on games from EA, spend the $4.99 (monthly or one month) for EA access and at least play the Xbox One version. The only reason I decided to purchase the game, was due to reports of the PS4 version being slightly better graphically.Florida State Seminoles
