Awkward Lie, Wolf Creek RM-PGA

[DHMN69]

THIS lie.. Wolf Creek 18 .. ball hit the sidewalk/cart path.. somehow missed people.. bounced up into the "mountain" then rolled around for about 20 seconds.. interesting lie they gave me after.. shouldn't it be OB?

Played the course twice IRL and no, that is not OB....

Played the course twice IRL and no, that is not OB....

I know it's not OB in EA's world.. but you'd beat the hell out of your wedge wouldn't you? Not that you'd EVER have this lie on a giant column of stone in real life

I think it just depends on how it's designated by stakes (or lack thereof), as gollini mentioned above.

I've noticed EA's still lazy on some lies.. I've landed/stopped on the edge of the rough before a bunker different times, and the next shot is either in the sand or flat on the rough .. they didn't want us to hit shots with one foot in one foot out? I remember previous versions also setting the next shot different from the actual place it stopped by a few feet

It is not "laziness"....it's an issue with the animations being able to handle the stance that terrain requires. These are all new animations and as the game matures, they should get better, especially short game animations whic are currently awful.

I hit mine into the grandstand at St. Andrews. It clunked around for a bit bouncing off people's knees then stopped. My next shot I was under the grandstand. I had to rotate the camera like 270 degrees just to barely see myself through the bleachers. The grandstand was closed on all sides. My next shot I just swung as hard as I could and the ball somehow popped out the side of the grandstand enough to where I had a decent shot on my next one.
