    Grid for Putting?

Dos this year's Tiger Woods have a place where you can cahnge the putting green to the "grid" like last year? This is really upsetting that this was left out of the game.

I haven't found it, and I agree that it's frustrating...

Is it really that hard to have a putting system like Links?

yeah, I'll get used to it, but the point putting system just doesn't feel right to me. I want to have to control my speed of the putt with how I use the analog stick, not guessing how far in front of/behind the hole to put an arrow.

I saw something on the IGN boards saying that it was under the options section of the menu. From IGN:

Go to Options --> Game Setup --> Select grid to on

Now just so you know, I don't have the game yet (very busy with school now), but I've been trolling the boards before I decide to buy it and I came across this tip. I'm interested if it works, so feedback would be appreciated.

I'll try when I get home...that'll help, still not a fan of the point putting system, but the game's fun. Just more realistic if I have to read a green rather than see the line the putt will go without changing a thing

If the grid is there that will make the putting system much better. USe the grid and get rid of the line and it will add a lot more depth to the putting IMO.

Everyone is calling for the links putting system but that is basicly the same system as TW. I never use the feature where you movea long the green and read the whole grid. Even using a 0 skill point player it is still very easy to get the lines in links.

Both games need to have a grid with NO "line" system

true, I suppose I just need to get into that putting groove with TW. It took me a while to get the putting speed down in Links, so it's more that I'm used to that. It will make it a lot tougher at first having to use a grid with no line, big learning curve I think
