Online, most people avg around -20 to -30 per games.

Depending on weather conditions, you'll be shooting -18 to -20 in Hot Shots pretty soon as well. Hot Shots is a little tougher than TW though. You can't drive the ball 350-400 yards with regularity, no matter how good of a player you get. There is no user creation, so you play with what characters are there. That helps.

Depending on weather conditions, you'll be shooting -18 to -20 in Hot Shots pretty soon as well. Hot Shots is a little tougher than TW though. its not like one or two people are doing it, everyone is, so when someone makes the one mistake you can really lay into them.

Hell, even the granddaddy of all sims, Links for the PC, could be birdie-fests. Its virtually impossible to make a computer version of golf hard.

it's not impossible I just think that the segment of the market that buys the most copies of a game wouldn't like a game to be that hard, so they'd get turned off of it. We're a huge minority (we being the knowledgable sports game/sim fans)

that's why game creator's need to get creative and give the option of playing a "realistic" round of golf or have an extreme difficulty level....at least give us the option. i.e. if it's in the game, it's in the game....or something like that....I'm getting sick and tired of hearing that!!!

that's why game creator's need to get creative and give the option of playing a "realistic" round of golf or have an extreme difficulty level....at least give us the option. i.e. if it's in the game, it's in the game....or something like that....I'm getting sick and tired of hearing that!!!
