Rory - Putting w/ no grid

Does anyone have any tips for reading the green with no grid? I can get the speed pretty well but anything outside 8-10 feet I have absolutely no clue what it's going to do 75% of the time at least (unless it's a massive break). Is there a way to move the view around or anything I'm missing? Trying to read it from the standard view is extremely rough.

I can't turn the grid back on or the game becomes WAY too easy.

Put your camera on the lowest view and look at the slope at the golfers feet and the ball, look at the angle of the ground in relation to the bottom of the putter head. Watch how your ball rolls on approach shots. That is about it. Shot -9 on Wolf Creek with the most challenging settings and no grids in Career Mode.

Thanks! This going to sound like a ridiculous question from someone who clearly plays the game enough to play with no putting grid, but how do I lower the camera? I should also say I have zoom turned off. So I can't zoom in. Can I still love the camera? The right stick doesn't move the camera at all.

Press the Right bumper and you can cycle through all of the golfer camera positions.
