In EAs game how do i save mid tourney

How do I save mid tourney in career mode? Only option I can find us to withdraw from the tourney altogether, that's rediculous. Am I missing something?

There is no mid-round save option.

Only workaround is to put PS4 to sleep mode and then when you restart it will pick up where you left off. If you want to save so you can play another PS4 game then out of luck.

This game doesn't really need a in game save.
You can play an 18 hole round in under 20 minutes and it saves the game after each round.
if you don't have time to play 20 minutes maybe you shouldn't play at all. lol

He asked "mid-tourney" not mid round. DM was the first to bring that up. I think he just wanted to ask how to save after say the first round of the tourney which as you just answered automatically happens.

Mine automatically saves mid-tourney.
I played the first 2 rounds Sunday night, made the cut, turned the PS4 off and it picked right back up last night when I fired the game up.
Not sure what the issue is here.

That is the workaround posted earlier. It is not really saving...it is the PS4 suspending/sleeping. It is a suitable workaround unless you want to stop playing, save your game, and then go play another PS4 game. There is no way to do that currently with this game unless you finish a round. Cannot "save" mid round and play another game.

And again a round takes less than 20 minutes.
He is saying how do you save mid tourney and it saves mid tourney after each round.
All you have to do is finish a 20 minute round and it saves your progress even if you turn your PS4 completely off. I don't understand the confusion here.

The confusion is this...if I play 9 holes and want to save so I can play MLB the Show...I can't. That's all. Regardless of how long it takes you to play a round that is not necessarily how long it takes others to do so.

The bottom line is he is right...there is no way to save mid round and play another PS4 game...you can only suspend the PS4 and then jump right back in when you restart.

One more time for you.
The OP is not about mid round, it is about mid tourney, and it saves the game after each round or mid tourney.
And as for your point...
If you need a save point that is only 10 minutes or so away from finishing anyway you shouldn't be gaming at that time. Your attention span must need some work if you cannot play a game for longer than 10 minutes without wanting to quit and play another game.

Until the OP comes back we won't know for sure what his actual ask is and we're all saying the same thing with a bit of semantics.

There is no mid round save.

After each round, progress is automatically saved.
