Bought this game on a whim cause it was on sale for ps4. Normally I would research before purchase and probably would have caught this, and avoided the game.
But damn no playoffs in career mode? That would be like reaching the superbowl in Madden career having a tie after four quarters and having the game say sorry it's a tie this year better luck next year.
Should be required to have a warning label before anyone can purchase. What a gyp.
Generally I don't complain about game designers much, I tend to give them the benefit of the doubt when others might feel robbed. But I really really feel like a sports simulation involving competition, should at the very least include the most exciting competive moment that said sport has, which on the case of golf would be sudden m********king death! (or any of the other methods used in the pga to break ties.
I managed to get a clutch birdie on 18, to tie for the lead and that pleasure was ripped from me in the most anticlimactic way.
Not only do I feel like that stole my money on the game, but more important to me then the money, they stole my time. The time I put into my career, only to find that one design decision makes the game utterly unplayable, at least for those like me who play sports games for the career mode.
