Re: Tiger Woods lost DLC Courses and a Possible Solution for XBox 360 and PS3 users

    * Is there an easy step by step reference on how to extract this file from Google Drive and transfer it to my PS3 & is there any confirmation that it has been working for everyone? *

Also, I’m referring to the link that twpgafan posted on this thread, the one via Google Drive. Thanks!

Has anyone found a fix for the infinite load screen issue on the DLC courses? I went through 4-5 hours of hassle to get it jailbroken and everything installed and transferred right, so it's incredibly frustrating to get 99.9% of the way there and have it all be for nothing because the courses hang on a loading screen.

          For PS3 or 360?

Binga, thanks so much for the files. Like the couple of others I too am stuck at infinite load screen. How does one clear cache for the game?

Unfortunately I don't have a PS3, I use an emulator which sadly doesn't work with TW12-14 as yet. I just know with the 360 there was a place you could clear the game cache, usually when browsing what games you've played. It may be more help to ask others in the thread that got this working?

Thank you - I'm wondering if the issue is that the files are not compatible? Because the DLC is marked with the standard TW 14 edition (BLUS31063) but I have the Historic Edition (BLUS31075) installed. Can anyone else with infinite load screen confirm which version of the game they're using?

You would think the DLC would work with any version.

I play on the 360 but I have the files for the PS3 and can check which versions I have and test later on.

I've tried with both versions now (Standard and Historic) and still at the same infinite load screen issue.

Clearly the files are being recognized, or else the option to select in the menu wouldn't be there, but something is still wrong. Has anyone using binga's files for sure gotten this to work, and if so what are you doing differently than those of us with the load screen issue are doing?

If anyone does indeed have this all working properly, if you could please copy the BLUS folder from the "games" folder (lowercase games not GAMES), zip up, and share for me/others to access, there seems to be something wrong with the currently available DLC files as packaged.

I dug into the issue a bit more and it seemed likely that it has something to do with .rap files being necessary to activate the license for the content. The DLC courses are .edat files (encrypted data) and any small amount of googling will tell you that you need .rap files for .edat or .pkg files to work (the .rap is the license/DRM that decrypts the content as far as I understand). I have tried installing using the package installer in the ps3 menu but when you do that the courses don't even appear in the in-game menus, so that doesn't work. At least when you go the FTP route and add the courses to the courses folder, they do appear in the in-game menu. So I found .raps for both DLC packs at nopaystation. I cannot post the links due to operationsports forum rules (low post count) but you can find them by going to nopaystation and searching by tiger woods.

And I figured adding those where they are supposed to go (dev_hdd0/exdata) might solve the issue. In other words that the infinite loading screen was because the game was searching for the .rap files to check for the licenses. But I added those .rap files and still got the infinite loading screen. The only other thought I have is that it's possibly an issue with game version, because supposedly the content ID of the .rap file has to match the content ID of the game. The content ID of those .rap files is for the BLUS31063 regular edition, but I only have the BLUS31075 Historic edition.

To the above poster who tried with both editions, could you try adding those .rap files from the links above and then try using the matching BLUS31063 edition and see if that fixes the issue? If that doesn't work then I am all out of ideas.

I second the request for anyone who has the game installed and all 18 DLC courses working on PS3 to copy over their entire game install directory (as well as the /exdata folder) so we can see what's going on. Preferably with the Historic BLUS31075 edition, but if the regular BLUS31063 edition is all you have we'll take what we can get. Perhaps it's an issue of folder structure, that the DLC courses are not being placed in the right folder path or something?

Confirmed the issue was with the RAP files - got this working now. A buddy I've been working on this with is gonna package/zip all files (game and DLC) and share on his mediafire account along with a step by step tutorial. I'll share with the folks on this thread when it's ready. We got it boys!

That is awesome dude, looking forward to it! I was about ready to give up, thinking that this was basically an unsolvable problem unless you were a PS3 developer or something.
