I'll post my info after work tonight...pretty sure I'm in year 4 or 5. I may have to try 3-click to increase difficulty, as I have everything turned up to the hardest it can be, but I still use analog controls.

How many events are in a season? I find the game enjoyable but it really kills the career mode for me not knowing how long the season is.

After the addition of Banff Springs, there are now, at my count, 25 events in a career mode season. I was upset that there was no schedule as well, so I created my own:

            BioWare Classic (Wetlands)
            CareerBuilder Challenge (PGA West)
Waste Management Phoenix Open (TPC Scottsdale)
            Arnold Palmer Invitational (Bay Hill)
            Alberta Classic (Banff Springs)
            International Challenge (Royal Troon)
            Spring Invitational* (Wolf Creek)
            Boston Championship (TPC Boston)
            Wells Fargo Championship (Quail Hollow)
            The Players (TPC Sawgrass)
            Peach Invitational (East Lake)
US Open* (Chambers Bay or Oakmont)
            Mid-Season Classic (Lighthouse Pointe)
            Arizona Summer Classic (TPC Scottsdale)
British Open* (St. Andrews or Royal Troon)
            California Classic (PGA West)
            Tiburon Championship (Wolf Creek)
            Mountain Shootout (Banff Springs)
PGA Championship* (Whistling Straits or Quail Hollow)
            EA Charity Invitational (Royal Troon)
            Pittsburgh Invitational (Oakmont)
Northeast Invitational (Lighthouse Pointe) - FedExCup Playoffs
Deutsche Bank Championship (TPC Boston) - FedExCup Playoffs
Orlando Classic (Bay Hill) - FedExCup Playoffs
The TOUR Championship (East Lake) - FedExCup Playoffs

This is a great stuff man. It seems that there's only 2 or 3 courses you play twice a year. I usually sit them out the second time around because most golfers miss a tourney or two during a season and I like to keep things interesting in the FedEx Cup.

Thanks! Glad to share it here with everyone.

After actually typing this out, it surprised me that you could potentially play Royal Troon 3 times in a year if it's used as that season's British Open.

And I usually do the same, as far as skipping the repeat courses goes. I do really enjoy Banff Springs, so I play that twice each season, as well as PGA West.

Re: Rory McIlroy PGAT: How's Your Career Going

I'm not sure how the game keeps track of which year is which, as I've played 4 years on TOUR, but it says I've completed season 5. Anywho, I am counting 2015 as the Web.com Tour Year.

                  Here are my career stats:

Settings: Custom analog; I use TOUR as a base, I still keep green grid on and swing difficulty is Normal

                  Year: Completed season 4 (2019)

                  Tournaments Won All Time: 24

Majors Won All Time: 5 (2016 British Open, 2018 US Open*, 2018 British Open*, 2019 British Open, 2019 PGA Championship)

                  * = tied for 1st place, but credited with the win

                  FedEx Cups: 3 (2016, 2018, 2019)

                  World Ranking: #1 (14.25)

                  Ahead/Below you in Rankings:
                  #2 Jordan Spieth - 11.70
                  #3 Rory McIlroy - 11.00
                  #4 Harris English - 5.70
                  #5 Henrik Stenson - 5.43

                  Top Stats:
Fairways In Regulation - 75% (#3 all time)
                  Sand Saves - 60% (#1 all time)
                  Putts Made - 59% (#1 all time)
                  Scoring Average - 69.43 (#1 all time)
Also ranked #1 all time in Par 3 scoring average (2.98) and Par 4 scoring average (3.93)

I do have some "house rules" I use:
                  - I play Quick Rounds for all non-Major events.
                  - For Majors, I play the first two rounds as Quick Rounds. If I make the cut, I play Saturday and Sunday as full rounds.

I am definitely considering the switch to the 3-Click swing. I find the "Hard" analog swing difficulty is too random, and the ball flies everywhere off the club face, even on straight up and down swings.

I would definitely say you need to make it harder. At that pace, you'll have the most wins and majors in PGA history before even your 14th season.

I have decided to switch to 3-click for the upcoming season. I may run through some practice rounds to see what my correct swing difficulty level is, but I will indeed be making a change.

I'm having so much fun with 3 click swing and playing strictly quick rounds. For starters, I can finish tourneys in about 30-45 minutes. Also, I never shoot better than 5 or 6 under so I'm not running away with every tournament. Right now I'm up to 15 wins on the tour, and I would say that in 12 of 15 of those, I only won by 1 or 2 strokes. It's quite exciting.

Question, finally getting into RM more and enjoying it. Does the game track your tourney wins somewhere? Or are you all doing that manually. I see the general stats (as anoying as that interface is) but don't see anything regarding my results. I'm in the middle of year 1.

You just have to go to your career highlights. When you look at your most recent win. It will tell you how many wins that is for you in your career, as well as for that particular season.
