I think everyone in this forum is supporting the game with the exception of maybe RIFRIG so we don't have much to worry about there.

Can you check to see if there are alternate ways to play the game with friends such as four ball or skins when you get a chance?

Doesn't make a difference to me, already paid for it. But just very anxious to hear if they are options are not and I think you are the only one able to comment on that at this point.

Not calling you out in a negative way. I just know you are being very cautious about a purchase this year and there is nothing wrong with that.

To the point of my post, I feel most here are buying the game one way or the other at this point.

You're getting super defensive for no reason at all.

I never implied nor do I feel that your opinion holds no value or importance.

I simply responded to a post saying to support this game by saying you are the only poster I'm aware of that won't be.

Is that inaccurate? If you are buying one way or the other then I apologize, I've misunderstood you.


And please, spare the "OS club" nonsense. That may exist in other forums here but it has never existed in the friggin golf forum where we have like 12 posters.

You can play stroke play, match play, and stableford scoring amongst friends. Another guy that has the game early, streamed those game modes yesterday.

Odogg, if you have more than 1 controller, you can play local multiplayer without having to share a controller. That same streamer had a friend over and they were using separate controllers.

The post I quoted was saying to support the game.

I said there is only one person here I know of still questioning their purchase and that was you.

Never did I "call you out" on anything since there is nothing wrong with wanting to be 100% sure of your purchase.

Again though, let me know if I'm wrong about your intent to purchase and I will edit my post with a full apology to you.

I have to reiterate that although Camp said he is seeing some freezes and pauses on the Pro - I still am not. Only a few times playing online have I seen any type of short pause(or hiccup)

(of course I'll see them a lot more now that I posted this)

You can share a controller or use a separate one.

While I enjoyed the first Golf Club and still play occasionally, I don't see myself picking up TGC2. With Everybody Loves Golf releasing in late August, I don't see myself playing this much after ELG releases. And I have so many other games that I'm playing right now, or trying to play right now, that I just don't see TGC2 getting much playing time.

No. You won't be able to do this as there is no four ball or match play that I'm aware of.



You can play with a friend and play two rivals or two ghosts if you want in stroke or any other modes.

So it doesn't sound like online play was improved at all then. Disappointing. Was hoping it would be a step up from last game.
