I'm on XB1 as well and my swing is much better using the left stick. The left stick placement makes it easier to keep my thumb straight during the swinging motion. Give that a try.

So your saying, no adjusted shaping, and perfect tempo swings for both, AND the line is straight up and down in the red, it's going way left or right?

If this is the case, I think there is something weird going on for you. Maybe a controller issue more than game issue. I only say this because on PS4, I've been hitting straight balls unless my tempo is off or my swing is off.

Edit:: Reread and miss the 90 degrees part, I honestly would think that is a controlled issue more than anything. And not physically the controller but maybe the game is having issues with the DS4 on PC. Have you tried a different controller like an Xbox one?

Yep. So far I love the mechanic. Nothing wrong with it at all for me.
I have mine down now where I can get almost every swing and nice baby draw.
Again when I first started I was all over the place, now I'm pretty confident BUT still have that worry each shot I may screw up lol

I see the stats screens got wiped during the server crashes over the last two days too. Of course, the only round my stats page shows was my terrible round of 6+, not the few good ones I had around even, or under par. Figures. lol

Still disconnections tonight as well. I'm running out of patience.

I have a strange ongoing glitch.

I imported an old course to update. It has generally gone fine, but in adding four pin positions for each hole, I've run into a glitch where there are two 2nd pin positions on my 2nd hole, although one of those two is actually my fourth pin position for my 4th hole.

I've tried everything to delete and move the pin position, but nothing works. If I do delete the pin position, it just deletes the other 2nd pin position actually belonging to the 2nd hole. The one that is supposed to be on my 4th hole is stuck on the 2nd green permanently as far as I can tell. Now the one thing I haven't tried is deleting the holes entirely, which will be my next course of action, but I figured I'd make people aware there are glitches - at least when it comes to importing old courses.

The only other issues I've had with importing the old courses is all the trees got HUGE. Probably a Unity issue, but I've basically had to delete all the trees near my course because they've taken over and have gotten in the way.

For example: if we are using a clock face to describe the swing, I go from 12-6 back and 6-12 forward with perfect/perfect tempo, most of the time we are good when it veers. it will veer from either 6-3 or 6-9 on the comeback, when I try to recreate that veer on my own the best I can do is 6-2 or 6-10. And I know my biggest personal tendency is going 6-11, I use the left stick swing btw, tried using right stick swing and I just suck at it and cant get it down. It's why I like the TGC because they do have the left stick swing.

Just to clarify (Trying to help)... You aren't actually pushing to 12 then down to 6 and then back up are you?
You are really starting from middle ..pulling down to six and then up to 12 correct.

Also don't know if will help but when I swing I "feel" like I'm pulling down to 5 then up to 11/12. Results in a nice swing for me if tempo is good.

You didn't lose them, you just don't see them because of server issues. They will come back.

Still have my coins, but my stats from 4 of my 5 online rounds are gone at this point

Hi; purchased the PC Day One edition, which has *both* Aristocrat DLC's. How do I claim these, A and B) do I need to be online to do it? I've been unsuccessful getting online, even though my internet is OK. Thanks.

Have had issues from Day 1 with Servers being down (PS4) digital edition ore-order. Don't think its gonna get better right away, UK servers went live today @ midnight. But they are "working on it".....

Just shot a 52, w/ player clubs @ Little Brook Manor, & it didn't register. My best game ever....damn

Played a game @ Victory Village, & the strangest thing occurred. When the course loaded, I found myself in the desert, with no fairways or greens...just a brown rocky surface. Next shot I went down in a rocky creek bed, & after a screen wipe, all the sudden there were lush greens & fairways at a beautiful country club. I hadn't had 1 beer either.

This game is phenomenal. If you appreciate golf this one is a keeper 100 percent. Now I will say that I've only been allowed to play really early or really late but that's happens with most games at launch. (I've played probably 20 rounds of 18)

What I will say is that playing with friends and joining societies is where it's at. If you look at the official societies they have tournaments ongoing based on your handicap and give you a chance to chase the leaderboards. Also venture into tgctours.com for their tour system. Pretty impressed to say the least with how deep they go into this.

I would love to start a society with everyone here on OS. I run a madden league through here and am definitely thinking about it.

The game is incredibly difficult. But the more I play the more my handicap is getting decreased. I've had rounds where I go minus 4, and rounds where I go plus 22. I've been everywhere with this game lol.

I do wanna say that you cannot trust that perfect/perfect tempo gauge. Your shot can still be in the red and say perfect/perfect but your shot does vary with perfect/perfect and definitely direction. Even if it's the slightest curve and etc. I've noticed where if I'm just casually playing and my shot will say perfect perfect but it's just not as accurate and when I slow it down a bit and am in more control of the joystick I'm much more accurate.

The wind is my favorite. I'm literally having to make mental notes on how the wind reacts with certain clubs.

The customization is absurd for your clothing and society. And last but not least, the created courses are awesome. I played a 9 hole water course some random created where I was teeing off on an island and the hole was in another island. One person also made a course with the tall white wall from game of thrones. That made me LOL. And i know it's not Rory, and it doesn't have Augustus but best believe there are created courses that try and replicate that. I didn't have golf club 1 but from what I read they had most courses made with that old course creator. With all the enhancements they did this year I would assume the created courses this year will look just like their real life counterparts.

I give this game 10/10 (when the servers allow me to actually play). I was a little turned off by the fact that I couldn't make my guy better. Like I did in career mode for Rory. But when I'm playing against friends and others I almost appreciate the fact that I'm either winning or losing based on skill and only skill. And not too many sports game can offer that. Remember jwhen 2k took over NBA live? Golf club 2 just took over Rory.
