I just pulled this game back out and was enjoying it but then I realized nothing I did saved. I know EA gave up on the game pretty much but is there a way to get my stuff to save?

The game should save automatically. What kind of rounds are you playing? Tour or quick play for lack of a better word exhibition stuff?

I started a career, created the golfer, finished the Web Championship, turned it off. Came back, nothing, not even custom settings.

You can't save mid-game in Rory, this was one of the issue brought up right away. So if you're in a hurry, you can the game to 'quick round' and do it that way to play only a handful of hole and complete the round. When you're back, you can switch it back to full round.

That's not the problem. It doesn't save at all, anytime.

Uninstall then install again. Never had a problem with the game saving on the PS4.

I noticed that EA has re-instituted the daily and weekly online tournaments for Rory. The daily tournament had been dormant for years. Very easy way to pop two trophies if you haven't before now. You don't even have to play the tournaments, just join them and the trophy pops.

There really aren't any DLC courses in this game.

The reinstall didn't work but somehow I managed to delete some files and get it to work. Geesh that was frustrating!

Were the files you deleted part of the Rory folder or from somewhere else?

I really wish EA would “reactivate” this effort and resume fixes and eventually making new content.

Visually it holds up perfectly well against the other abandoned golf games... it doesn’t really need anything but fixes/tweaks and more content over time.

I just so badly want a game that looks like this, but with all of that content from TW14

Speaking of TW14... there were 350 users online for PS3 at one time this week. That's a 7 years old game on old gen console.

It’s Masters week, or well, it would have been. EA’s biggest mistake with the golf market was letting go of the Augusta license. TW 14 was the perfect game last gen as far as in game content. Ultimate team modes killed this franchise.
