Really loving this game on hard 3 click no aids. Putting without the beads brings the challenge way up for me. Started back a few weeks ago playing normal swing settings with putting beads on then went to hard swing with putting beads off and added 7-10 strokes to a round.



Damn shame the game went the way it did since it looks and plays better than anything on the market and it ain't close. About the only thing TGC does better is the putting interface though I can live with what EA did with Rory.

Totally agree about Rory on looks..

Using controller, it needed some more optional challenge levels and the putting could have been better. I would have hoped that might have come through more patching.

As I've regurgitated before - it's so frustrating they quit on it after they'd done the enormously hard part of building it and releasing it. It was time to let it coast and get patched 1 or 2 times per year and slow release more course content. So frustrating.

The economics of it must not have made sense or something.

I got the impression he was talking about Tiger Woods 14. I've got a copy of the XBox 360 version of Tiger Woods 14 I'd be glad to mail out to whoever wants it, but I'm sure Pietasterp is on Playstation 3.

I would love to have a copy of this game for 360 if it has all of the dlc courses. Not sure if just the disc would work though. If anyone can offer that up let’s chat. [email protected]

I've got just the disk; I never bought any of the DLC for TW 14. I did buy all of the DLC for TW 13, which I still play on occasion.

Got it and responded to you there, but yeah, I still have TW 14 and would be glad to see it get to someone who could use it. I find myself reaching for TW 13 or 10 every time I want some XBox 360 golf action.

Began playing it again for a bit a few weeks ago. Started a new Pro Career Mode. I play with the 3-Click control scheme, so it gives me a bit of a change of pace from the analog scheme in TGC 2019.

I do like the quick round settings in Career Mode, letting me play through tournaments at a pretty fast clip. It's pretty great that they still had the licenses for 3 of the 4 majors, with The Masters being the lone one missing. And I still don't understand why the replacement event (The Spring Invitational) is at Wolf Creek in Las Vegas...just doesn't fit the springtime theme at all. And Wolf Creek is obviously nothing like Augusta.

In general, the graphics are nice and still stand up pretty well for being a 5 year old game. But the lack of courses is just unforgivable. And the Career Mode is as bare bones as can be. Even the TGC 2019 Career Mode offers sponsorship goals, something 'Rory' does not.

I am glad that I have 'Rory' as a backup PGA Tour game that still has real golfers, real equipment, and some quality current-gen graphics. But I have actually been spending more time in the Tiger Woods games of old to get my Career Mode golfing fix.

If rpcs3 gets TW14 playing smoothly at some point, with some upscaling, I will undoubtedly launch head first into a complete from scratch career mode.

I love TW14...it could just really benefit from some modern resolution boosting at this point.

I just found the rpcs3 games compatibility list and it does show that Tiger Woods 07 is fully compatible. It's the only one mentioned though. TW 07 was so-so, but I didn't really get fully into the series until TW 10.

Dumb question I know...but how do you know when you have completed this game? I know there is the Fedex tour...at the end of that do you get a final ranking or something?

I wanna say that the career mode lasts like 10 years. The last event of each season is the Tour Championship at East Lake. After that event is done, I think the game tells you that you finished the season and can be taken to the next year right away.

I think they show the FedEx Cup standings after each event, so you should be told where you finished right after the Tour Championship is complete.

And I honestly have no clue what happens at the end of 10 years...I'd assume you just get taken back to the main menu and can start a new career at that point.
