Based on my two quick play experiences with Tiger Woods 14 and 13 this past week, I wanted to pass along a few thoughts on each. After MrArlingtonBeach took me up on my offer to send my copy of the Classic Edition of TW 14, I wanted to compare it to TW 13, which is neck and neck with TW 10 for my favorite of the series. I'd already made a few comments about TW 14 in a post earlier in this thread with my latest impressions, so I'll try not to repeat them.
First of all, I'd forgotten one significant condition that makes the True-Aim camera presentation of TW 13 so special, and this is it works much better in multiplayer online play. In multiplayer online (which I played on ton of on 13), the True-Aim camera cut would occur about 90% of the way through the ball's travel, and it was maybe just about 10% later than what I would consider ideal. For some reason, it doesn't occur until after the ball has come to rest in all other modes!? That's better than no cut at all, but there's no rhyme or reason why it shouldn't work just as well, if not better than the cut to finish production of online multiplayer mode??
Secondly, the broadcast presentation mode in 13 is just tolerable, but not as good as I'd remembered it. Tiger Woods 10's presentation (broadcast) production kills all the others in the series with its broadcast mode, as it's more of a player perspective oriented presentation. I'll stick with True-Aim in 13, even with it's static shot only cut finish. Online Multiplayer isn't available in TW 13 any more, so I don't have the luxury of enjoying that mode's more dynamic True-Aim camera cut

Tiger 14's course graphics are more defined and cleaner looking than 13's. I also think its golfers animate a little smoother, although really, they both look great and beat anything we have current gen, by a long shot. The environmental audio effects are better in 14.
I enjoyed playing Tiger 13 last night and I find it plenty difficult enough in its hardest mode, even without a diagonal swing... my 47 on the front nine will attest to that, although at lot of that came due to a shot limit exceeded on one hole where I was determined I was going to punch a shot from heavy rough under a limb and over a stream... finally made it my last attempt before being ushered away to the next tee!
In the end, I can't imagine how content I would be if I just had Tiger Woods 13's online multiplayer True-Aim camera presentation, with an option for Tiger Woods 10's presentation mode, incorporated into Tiger Woods 14 Classic Edition, with Connected Tournaments still active.... (sigh)
