I do not, but I know the designer has said he's going to publish the course under a different name.

For those interested in the Monterey Area Golf Course that is now censored, it apparently has been published under a new name - a search for "Cobble" should yield what you're looking for.

Anyone else have a swing hitch on the left stick? The backswing just stutters. Tried cleaning my controllers and it helps but then goes back to doing it

It was really more of a custom career mode creator. You could set up your own "society" (Tour) and use whatever user or official courses you wanted to use in a season of whatever length you wanted. I'm really surprised they took it out, as it seemed to be popular with a lot of the career mode players.

It seems the impressions are trending downward about this game as time rolls on, but I had an experience this morning that sort of relit my passion for it a bit. I was playing in the TGC Tours Beer League Society tournament at Fox Chapel. I had shot a 64, 65, and 66 in the first three rounds and was in 31st place on the PC version leaderboard, I don't know where I stood on the combined platform leaderboard, but I'm sure it wouldn't have been in the top 100.

So what happened that got me a little stoked? It's weird, I shot a 68 in the final round, but I missed 4 putts that each had some subtle reactions to a slow speed encounter with the lip of the hole. Each one of them looked totally natural. I had never really paid enough attention to how intricate this aspect of the game can be, but when you get two of these back-to-back, it stands out more. Just surprised I hadn't noticed this level of detail in the game before.

I have to wonder how much I would have noticed this had I been playing on my XBox One X instead when this happened. I doubt seriously it would have been as noticeable at 30 FPS, versus the 60 FPS at which I was playing it on the PC? The net result of this is I'm sure I'll be looking forward to my next round with a higher set of expectations.

The thing is this golf game is good. It’s VERY,VERY good!
Are there things they can fix? You bet there is.
Like live ghosts for instance.
Most of things that we want fixed I believe can be done with very little effort.
But then what??
How does HB sell a new golf game?
Because if they fixed the things we want fixed, then this game is damn near perfect and I would be satisfied with no need to upgrade.

I agree...the game is good. But it's nowhere near perfect IMO.

If they're going to continue this franchise, especially with the PGA Tour attached, they really, really, really need to sharpen up their single-player career mode experience. AI scoring issues need to be fixed for THIS game, not the next one. It's embarrassing to have the winners of events switch and change for no good reason.

They also need to add more real-life courses, and they MUST add majors. Since HB and the course owners are cracking down on specific real course recreations done by the community (Augusta, St. Andrews, Pebble Beach, Royal Melbourne, etc.), they need to have these most-wanted tracks playable in game and fully licensed. And maybe that's why they are cracking down - they might have gotten the rights and will add them later...

That's another thing...additional content needs to be done a lot better. They oversized hats and silly putters they put out around Halloween were just plain worthless. Add more apparel brands, more real gear, and especially more real courses. Post-launch support needs a lot of attention, because right now there is next to none.

Lastly, they need to change the way pros are in this game. I understand that some folks don't care at all about playing as the pros, but what they did this year is a sad implementation of the pro golfers. They should have saved the money and kept real guys out if they wouldn't be playable, and they would only be included in horrendous cutscenes.

And this doesn't even go into the issues that it seems Xbox users are having with tempo...which it sounds like has been going on for multiple games in the series and is still happening when playing on the next-gen Xbox, too.
