I have not - I was supposed to take a trip to Charleston a few weeks ago, but my grandfather passed away, so the trip has been delayed to later this fall. Will definitely play it when I'm there!

And let me know your thoughts on the course in 2K21...I used a lot of resources online to build the course, so I hope I did it justice.

Was planning to give it a go yesterday, but my friends invited me to happy hour. I hope to play it tonight. From the article it looks really good.

You can read more about the course at my blog post on it.
How'd I miss seeing this one!? On the schedule for today MAB... I bet it plays really sweet at 60 FPS on my Series X. Back with a report later.

Steven, I played this course yesterday afternoon and it's a keeper! I love how you've captured the atmosphere of that course. The tee shot and approach shot to the 10th hole in particular is a great illustration of how much attention you've paid to detail, in presenting the objects and scenery in between the fairways. I had to stop and pan the camera to take it all in as I was setting up for my approach shot to 10.

I'm glad you stayed with the simple lines and shapes of the greens there, as it winds up being part of the charm. I was playing well and posted a 58 there, but it's not intended to be a U.S. Open course, it's a muni! Our DigitalSportspage Society will be playing a tournament there for Tuesday's "Daily". Nice course and thanks for making it!

Excellent, thanks so much for the kind words! And you are right - a US Open venue this is not! But the story of The Muni, and the fact that anyone can actually play this in real life is what drew me to it. I'm heading to Charleston in fall, and am really thrilled to play this in reality!

Newly published Twin Peaks GC (Stadium hole bottom left in photo). 7,662 at it’s longest, experience it from the Black tees. Great scenery for all skill levels. All feedback is welcome, give it a try! Hope you all enjoy

Well, I'm still making new courses on 2K21, and my newest is a fictional one set in Wisconsin's Door County peninsula.

Cherry Bluffs features elevation changes, strategically placed bunkers, tree-lined fairways, and intermittent water hazards to test your game.

The course measures over 7,200 yards from the tips.

Here's the working cherry orchard you see on your drive in:

This is the double green shared by holes 9 and 18:

Wave to campers at the State Park just off of hole 12:

Hole 14 features a great view of the lighthouse:

Cherry Bluffs looks awesome Steven... what a distinctive look. I'll be playing that one this afternoon. I've always found your course flow so smoothly, even before the 60 FPS enabling patch. You also seem to take a bit of care to ensure the periphery of the course is blended. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thank you! This course pushed the object meter a bit, as there are a lot of multi-planted rocks, trees, and grasses. I have not had any lag issues when playing the course on my old PS4, so I hope all is fine on next-gen consoles!

                      Enjoy your round!

I got to play this yesterday, but I had to split it into two shifts. I started at 2:00 PM, then got called out, and finished it late last night. It's one of the more interesting courses I've played. I love the occasional double green (how many are on there on this course?... I'm not always fully tuned in to my surroundings ). I had three eagles in my round. I sank like a 52 foot putt on the first hole for one, eagled the first par 5 on the back (#10) and then one hopped a middle iron approach to a par 4, one or two holes after that for another eagle. Unfortunately, I had a 4-putt green, and two 3-putt greens that I have to attribute to my inability of late to back off the throttle on long putts, especially the downhillers.

I must that from the 15 hole, from the time you reach the fence to the left, where you get a spectacular view of the, on to the finish, is one of the best stretches I've seen in a while. It's a photographer's dream. I'm going to see if I can get Vic Campbell (karma4u) to do a photo spread on that stretch... great stuff!

The only thing I could mark this course down for is I find most of the trees in the Autumn and Harvest course themes to have an overly saturated color level to them... they don't look terribly natural, especially at a distance, where they tend to show color blooming. That's no reflection on your talents as a designer, Steven, but something I'd like to read your take on.

I'd be curious to see what this course would look like in Boreal or Rustic, even though I'm sure that would capture it in its more signature look. I'm going to play it in some different weather conditions and times of day to shake it up a bit, but I can say I played every club in my bag on this course, and twice had to manufacture a punch shot, to the extent that's possible in this game. That's the mark of a good golf course in my book!

                          Thanks for the play!

There's just the one double green - Holes 9 and 18 share one.

And here's a look karma4u took of 15 and 16 for the course listing on TGC Tours:

I was inspired by the real-life Peninsula State Park Golf Course in Door County, and loved the pictures of it in autumn:

I wish 2K21 could capture those oranges better, and I totally agree with you about the autumn colors in the game. I've just used Boreal so much that I wanted to try a new theme and see how that worked!

I'm also happy to report that Cherry Bluffs was chosen as being "Tour Worthy" by TGC Tours, so maybe you'll see it again on the Beer League!

My newest course, The Bull Moose Club, has been released on PGA 2K21! Set in the North Dakota badlands, The Bull Moose Club is a 18-hole, walking-only golf course that embodies the virtues and ideals of Theodore Roosevelt. The name for my course is taken from the nickname of the Progressive Party, which T.R. was a part of following his loss in the Republican Presidential Primary of 1912. The Progressive Party earned its nickname - the "Bull Moose Party" - when Roosevelt said he felt "strong as a bull moose" after losing the nomination in June at the Chicago convention.

Also, following an assassination attempt in Milwaukee in 1912, Roosevelt said, "Ladies and gentlemen, I don't know whether you fully understand that I have just been shot, but it takes more than that to kill a Bull Moose."

The course is a par-72 layout and plays over 7,100 yards from the tips. Bring your hiking shoes, your camera, and watch out for rattlesnakes!

Tee it up at my real course recreations of "Peninsula State Park GC" and "Peninsula Short Course", both in PGA 2K21!

Peninsula State Park GC is located within Peninsula State Park in Wisconsin's Door County. It's not very lengthy at just over 6,300 yards, but it's fun and quirky and perfect if you're in the area camping, hiking, or visiting the tourist destinations in Door County. The signature hole is Hole 8, a 69-yard par-3 that plays 60 feet straight downhill!

The Peninsula Short Course is across the street from the "big course", and has 6 holes designed for beginners, families, and those interested in working on their short game!
