Re: PGA2k21 question (pardon my ignorance)
Not sure if this is true, because I haven’t had time to test it, but I would assume putting left stick up and right stick down would result in a “Stinger” type shot that starts out low and lifts. Theoretically, hitting a low shot with a lot of back spin would have this outcome.#KingsAllDay

Re: PGA2k21 question (pardon my ignorance)
Ok found it where Id seen it.. it's in lesson tutorial.
It's says left stick is to increase dynamic loft (down) or decrease dynamic loft (up)
Right stick for spin (down-) for more spin (up+) for less spin
So both down maximum chance of spin and shorter flight, up less spin potential longer flight. I guess mix and match accordingly to experimentComment

so wait when do you do this when the ball is in the air?Comment

Re: PGA2k21 question (pardon my ignorance)
At address... Hold LB xbox, (L1 ps4?)
And the two settings pop up and you adjust with the sticks prior to swinging... Also setting up for draw and fade are on left stick at that time as well (left for fade right for draw)Comment

Re: PGA2k21 question (pardon my ignorance)
I BELIEVE the left stick is where the club makes contact with the ball (low on the ball means high loft) and the right stick creates spin (R stick down means getting more under the ball, creating more back spin).
Not sure if this is true, because I haven’t had time to test it, but I would assume putting left stick up and right stick down would result in a “Stinger” type shot that starts out low and lifts. Theoretically, hitting a low shot with a lot of back spin would have this outcome.
The real life physics of that explanation are completely off, but the in game mechanics explanation is correct.Comment

i guess there no real answer to this but is it good to have both of them down or up or i have to look per time. i dont know golf like that so any help would be appreciateComment

Re: PGA2k21 question (pardon my ignorance)
Could be completely off but my understanding of it so far is that the LB + left stick controls high, low, draw or fade and any combination of high fade, low draw, etc. while LB + right stick can add loft or deloft the club face. Adding loft will cause the ball to go higher and add spin while delofting will make the ball fly shorter and roll out more.
It’s tricky because there’s some overlap here on both sticks with them essentially doing similar things plus the more you adjust the shot, the smaller your margin for error gets in the swing cone.
