    Re: Swing Meter

Someone pointed me to a really helpful tip yesterday regarding the "Swing Meters" (both for putting and for all other shots). If you're like me and find the swing meters to be a distraction, but like to play in the official 2K21 Society tournaments, and other Societies where the Swing Meters are inexplicably locked to "ON". If you go into the Display/HUD settings menu under your "MyPLAYER" menu, you can opt to turn both meters there and they will override the Society difficulty setting.

To some it might sound like a "cheat" since you're doing something that side-steps a Difficulty Setting, but on paper, you're actually making the game play more difficult by turning the meters off, and relying on the golfer animation and haptic feedback to gauge your backswing length.

I've resumed play in the official Society tournaments and the Reddit official forum again since learning this and it gave them the spark they were missing.

When I take 20 practice swings and the swing is all over the place and cant get it tuned it at all then something is wrong. I have had rounds where I did not score well and it was certainly all on me, but then there are rounds where something is screwey. I am guessing it has to do with the servers where the swing lags a bit resulting in a lot of slows....

      Check your actual controller!

I have 4 controllers and they do play differently!
