I was playing green Hill tour in pga career mode, got on the 7th hole of the 3rd round, hit a shot, bounced off tree, cart path, across the fairway and into the water, very unlucky. So when it came to drop it would only let me drop on the rock that looked like it was in the water. So I hit my 3rd shot with an iron, good contact and instantly went in the water? Now frozen and can't do anything, when I exit and get back in it just shows my player standing in the water. Any ideas?

I launched one into the stands and ball was dropped there to, had to shoot out of the second row.

Sorry you guys are having these issues, but for whatever reason, these 2 bugs/glitches crack me up. The situations are so ridiculous but obviously should have been accounted for, since these types of things happen in golf routinely.

The old "Leaderboard Golf" on Commodore 64 used to solve the water problem by creating a little round island of land that magically sprung up from nowhere so you could hit shots from around/on the water. Glad to see we've come a long way in 30 years....(!)

This is getting on my nerves. I am +5 the leader is -16. I make a par putt and the commentary says that's going to put me in the lead. Sometimes it will say with that putt it moves me to the top 10 when I'm in 50th

I’ve only had the game for a few days and so far I’m really enjoying it. Not sure if this qualifies as a glitch, but I find it quite odd that my player will excitedly pump his fist or signal to the crowd after sinking a bogey putt (or worse). I know real life players will sometimes acknowledge the polite applause after a bogey, but none will carry on as if they’ve just sunk a putt for eagle.
As I say, not a big issue but does detract from the realism a little for me.

Tony Finau jumped out to a -4 in round one of the Tall Palms Classic. In round two, I noticed that he had dropped off. After the round, I see that his -4 got wiped and changed to a +2, and now he was another +2 for the second round, making him +4. Maybe he signed the wrong scorecard?

It is a mood killer for sure. I just can't understand how that kind of stuff doesn't get caught and corrected during in house play testing? It's not like it's a server load related issue!?

Bryson DeChambeau plays only one hole and goes from -5 to -13 on the leaderboard. I'm not sure which bird would be able to describe that. Ostrich maybe?

The leaderboard has always been garbage in TGC, HB just seem either unable to fix it or don't care about it.

Last night I won the Green Hill Classic by one shot at -7, my first win. Today I’ve switched the game on and I’m down as T2 on -7 and the scoreboard does not resemble anything like it was last night. It now says Troy Merritt won with -9. I still have the trophy in the trophy room. I’ve dropped from 2nd to 9th in the FedEx Cup points standings.

I’ve just checked the previous tournament standings and they have all changed too. All of the previous winners have changed. Kyle Jones now has two wins in six tournaments when he had zero before. Tony Finau had won the Champions Invitational but now he’s T1 with Kyle Jones and Jhonattan Vegas.

I’m not the greatest player ever (play on pro-am) but I was absolutely buzzing after winning the tournament last night and it’s so annoying to see it gone. I’ve been loving the gameplay so far but this is really disappointing.

This is a Golf game. One of the most important and fundamental things that must work in a game of golf is the Leaderboard. It is a mystery to me why the developers fail to implement a simple Leaderboard correctly. This is not rocket science but a simple table in which 1 and 1 have to be added up in a round of golf. Nothing else.


In addition, even the overall Fedex-Standings are incorrect during a tournament that is in progress ........

Take a look at the overall Standings at timestamp 06:07 and compare the overall Standings with timestamp 40:39 after the 1st round of the Genesis Invitational in career mode :

This is a Golf game. One of the most important and fundamental things that must work in a game of golf is the Leaderboard. It is a mystery to me why the developers fail to implement a simple Leaderboard correctly.

Sadly, HB has poorly implemented (or totally omitted) many critical golf related elements in every single version of TGC, and 2K21 is of course yet another version of that same game.

It's really frustrating to see any kind of "basics" for a golf game not be there, despite years of development.

Well TGC has always been a golf game designed around a course designer. Pity too because with more work it could really be something. I like the game but they can do better.
