Does anybody have a good set of settings to mimic "real life" play. Visual aids off, which difficult isn't a cpu cheat, etc. Stuff like that.
    I haven't played a golf game since Nintendo 64

On the true sim tour, we play as follows:

    TGCTours (True Sim Tour)

    Swing Diff: Master
    Swing Timing: on
    Distance Control Meter: Off
    Distance Control Assist: Off
    Putt Preview: 0
    Course Ydg: On
    PV Wind: Off
    PV Lie Pen: Off
    PV Lie Angle: Off
    PV Elevation: Off
    PV Tru Shot: Off
    PV Traj: Off
    Scout Cam: Off
    Lie Grid: Off
    Green Grid: Off
    Pin Pref: Open
    Aim Marker: Marker Only
    Wind Display: Meter
    Distance Display: Carry

And some gameplay from my PGA career:

    <iframe width="750" height="422" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Yk7cmJTBpWU" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe>

In terms of CPU in the Career, I'm still learning, but I've put for Korn Ferrry tour players

    CPU Skill 85%
    CPU Event Skill Deviation 20%
    CPU Round Skill Deviation 5%
    CPU Attendance 100%

How is it even possible to read the greens with the grid off? I'm interested because I tried it off but cannot make some simple 5 foot putts simply because reading the green is impossible.

It takes some practice, but here's my video tutorial on how to do so:

..and just think, they included all them CPU sliders and I have just proved that 2K-HB have scammed the lot of us. See my VIDEO PROOF thread. Pro's are affected by the sliders, but the Pro's are just stats based and not what we have been lied to believe is CPU AI going on in the background actually playing the shots as we are.

Fair enough to have stats based Pro's if thats how they could have marketed the game.....but they didnt.
