    Post your Handicap + Settings

    Handicap Index: +2.8

    Settings:

    Swing Difficulty: Master
    Swing Timing: On
    Distance Control Meter: Percentage Only
    Distance Control Assist: Off
    Putt Preview: 0
    Course Yardage: On
    Pro Vision Settings: Off
    Scout Camera UI Off
    Lie Grid: Off
    Green Grid On
    Aim Marker: On
    Wind Display: Meter Only
    Distance Display: Carry

UI & HUD: All on fade, shot and setup feedback on

    XP Multiplier: 1.94x

Only options I've really played around with since launch is the green grid and meter. Think I could get away without the grid for putting (although it really slows down my pace of play), but tough not having it for shots around the green and longer approaches. Hard to judge false fronts, backstops, ridges, bowls etc.

As far as the meter goes, I've never used it for full shots, but have gone back and forth with it for putting. Think I've settled on percentage only for a couple reasons. First, the tempo of my stroke glitches the meter from time to time (on ps4). Too often my snap will hit white to only kick back to the grey area on the transition. I think it's because I don't push very hard up on the stick so the meter has a tough time calculating the power of the stroke.

So even though I'll have more ugly moments on the green with my pace--the length of the putter and the touchiness of the stroke makes it tough to dial things in at times--% offers more consistency. I also like how it makes taking practice strokes a more helpful and necessary tool on the greens.

Curious to hear other people's setups. I'm about 40 rounds in roughly, and think I'm pretty settled on things.

Still haven't dove into career mode yet though. Still not good enough on my current settings to compete unless I nerf the CPU which I can't being myself to do .

    Settings:

    Swing Difficulty: Pro
    Swing Timing: On
    Distance Control Meter: On
    Distance Control Assist: On
    Putt Preview: 0
    Course Yardage: On
    Pro Vision Settings: Off
    Scout Camera: On
    Lie Grid: On
    Green Grid On
    Aim Marker: On
    Wind Display: Wind Speed
    Distance Display: Carry

UI & HUD: All on, except Ball Labels is Fade

    XP Multiplier: 1.59x

I'm getting better at the game, but still don't feel confident in upping the difficulty quite yet. And I am getting close to the career mode setup I am liking, so I think my settings my stay as-is for a while.

If you plug a wired headset into your controller, your putting meter will not kick back. It makes no sense, just trust me. I have the same issue and it fixes it.

        Handicap: +2.8

        Settings:

        Swing Difficulty: Pro-Am
        Swing Timing: On
        Distance Control Meter: Off
        Distance Control Assist: Off
        Putt Preview: 0
        Course Yardage: On
        Pro Vision Settings: Off
        Scout Camera: On
        Lie Grid: On
        Green Grid On
        Aim Marker: On
        Wind Display: Wind Speed
        Distance Display: Carry
        Pins: Out

UI & HUD: All on, except "Shot setup feedback" is off (gets rid of swing/power meters in all play modes) and "Ball Labels" is Fade.

        XP Multiplier: 1.73x

Even though my swing difficulty is shown as "Pro-Am" above, I probably actually play well over half my rounds in Pro, as two of the Societies I play are Pro, plus public matchmaking is Pro, and I'm playing more of that than I thought I would.
