Re: Justin Thomas
It's odd...in my first career mode season, it was Adam Scott who was unstoppable. He won 8 or 9 events, I won 5, and I think JT won 3. I still have attendance set to 90%, but increased round and event deviation to see how that worked, since someone on Reddit recommended that.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: Justin Thomas
I've heard this from other people as well about Justin Thomas. Unfortunately for me it has been Patrick Reed and to a lesser extent, Tony Finau. It's honestly tilting to see Reed end up in the top 5 or better in every event. lol.Streaming all 162 games of my MLB 22 Franchise on Twitch! Come hang out!

Re: Justin Thomas
I was wondering if anyone else had that problem, Justin Thomas is always on top I'm in my 1st season on career on the 10th tournament and Thomas has won 6 and been in the top 10 all the others

I did adjust sliders a bit in career mode to help with this. The best I have come up in terms of slider settings is (playing on Pro swing difficulty with custom modifications, and all events are set to two rounds):
CPU Skill - 82%
CPU Event Skill Deviation - 25%
CPU Round Skill Deviation - 10%
CPU Attendance - 90%Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: Justin Thomas
Yes, it's clearly something in the game's AI scoring code that makes Justin Thomas (as well as some of the other pros) dominant in the game. For me, it was Adam Scott that was playing out-of-this-world, winning almost 10 events in the first season. But is seems like most folks have the coverboy play like a superhuman in their seasons.

For those looking for a more robust 'fix', I have created a mod that adjusts the rosters in each of Q-School, the Korn Ferry Tour and the PGA Tour to ensure all of the real-life players (of each level) are competing against you in each, whilst also adjusting the skill levels for the PGA Tour to create a more competitive field.
I am going to create a thread in which I share the details, including a download link, once I am able to (need a post-count first).Comment

Re: Justin Thomas
Snooping around on the PC files, Justin Thomas had the highest skill rating (.95). I was able to change the via modding though and add in missing pros like Tiger and RoryComment

Re: Justin Thomas
You will need to download a program called UnityEX, and then point it to the resources.assets file in your game directory (golf_Data). Then you will need to export SimOpponents-PGATour into a text file. (right click, export selected).
Once that is done you can edit the names and ratings of any golfers, such as replacing a scrub with Jack Nicklaus, etc. Then just go back to UnityEX and click "Import files".
When your game starts back up the new golfer names should appear in your existing career. If you changed ratings on some players, any past results that you've had for that season will also be modified as well, many with different winners.Last edited by ManInBlack; 02-20-2021, 03:29 PM.Comment

Re: Justin Thomas
A user on the first page of this thread stated that he had modified all three tour rosters but he hasn't posted in a good while.Comment
