A bit of drama on 18 with a shot into the bunker.

Disappointing that no one went out and got the leader....shot even par and still won.

Oh well, nice to have the unofficial start to spring back in its rightful place on the calendar.

Disappointing finish. Was over when Xander dunked it in on 16. Wish there could have been a better finish but at least I was able to get started on my honey do list a few holes earlier.

LOL I think I felt the collective power surge of the entire nation turning the TV off at the exact same time after Xander rinsed that shot at 16. What a disappointment. Just when it was about to get exciting, too.

Boring last round until the finish. Matsuyama was lucky to win. Couple putts here and there Spieth wins. Goes to show keep plugging you never know.

Outside of play on Saturday after the rain delay I don't ever remember the course playing this difficult.

What about Zalatoris? If he doesn't take that careless 3 putt early in the round, he's in a playoff!

I couldn't believe he put that in the water.

I feel like I almost never see anyone in the water there.

Pressure must have gotten to him.

Shot after the drop wasn't good either.

Oh, the shot after the drop was horrible. That was more disappointing in some ways than the original rinsing. But the whole thing was terribly disappointing, since I was falling asleep prior to that, then the events of #15 happened and I sat bolt upright on the edge of my seat, and then right when it was getting interesting, it all went away with that shot in the water on 16. It was like, "well, that was a fun 90 seconds of tension", and then the tournament was effectively over.

Anytime the winner can go bogey-bogey-bogey and still win, it's not the most exciting....

Seen guys stay close and win like that in the past but I never got the feeling he was going to win though.
