What courses do you want to see in EA Golf

The courses are the most important thing for me. I'm hoping there's some kind of design feature as well. Here are the ones I'd love to see:

    Augusta
    Carnoustie
    Firestone
    LACC
    Oakmont
    Olympic Club
    Pebble
    Riviera
    Sawgrass
    Scottsdale
    Southern Hills
    St. Andrews
    The CC Brookline
    Whistling Straits

Obviously the more the better, but I think this is a good starting point.

Re: What courses do you want to see in EA Golf

      We know these are in:

      Augusta
      Augusta Par 3
      Pebble Beach
      TPC Sawgrass

So, on top of those, I'd like to see:

      St. Andrews
      The Country Club
      Southern Hills
      Whistling Straits
      Torrey Pines
      Pinehurst No. 2
      Oakmont
      Quail Hollow
      Royal Melbourne
      Royal County Down
      PGA National
      Muirfield Village
      Oak Hill CC
      Kiawah Island
      Crooked Stick
      TPC River Highlands
      TPC Scottsdale
      East Lake
      PGA West
      Harbour Town
      Riviera

So that's 25 courses, and I figure the total will be around that.

If I had a group of courses there are more "wish list" tracks that will likely never be in the game, I'd say these:

      Pine Valley
      Cypress Point
      Merion (East)
      National Golf Links of America
      Winged Foot (West)
      Sand Hills
      Cabot Cliffs
Any of the Bandon Dunes resort courses
      Seminole GC
      Tara Iti
      Sand Valley

Think they will go mainly PGA courses stop, with some international courses in there. They already have St Andrews and Royal Troon in Rory, so they should be both in there for The Open rotation. Guess they will be adding another link course for a 3 year rotation. And that's something the Brits don't like about 2K/HB, no real link courses with pot bunkers. There's a big market there.

Hoping for oak hill myself. As mentioned in another thread it can be used for both us open and pga championship.

Re: What courses do you want to see in EA Golf

I have played EA golf games from the early days & I would appreciate revisiting some courses from 2006/2007

                    Carnoustie 06
                    Princeville 07
                    Glen Abbey 07
                    Spyglass Hill 07
                    Bandon Dunes 07

Thought the 2007 game had a lot of courses with elevation changes that made it stand out from other games in the series.

I also think Banff springs is a good track.

All great ideas. At this point I would settle for a real golf swing.

                          Great point above

I know this isn't courses, but while watching the Masters it reminded me just how much I really want to see great, realistic, ball physics and reactions to the environments.

I'd like to see them go overboard with the number of major courses. Have at least seven for each of the three majors besides Augusta. I'd just love to have a big focus on the majors since they will be exclusive to EA. They could bring back the "Legends of the Majors" mode, and set a ton of career goals related to winning majors. I used to skip all the events and just play the majors, Players, and FedEx Cup.

                            U.S. Open:
                            Oakmont
                            Pebble Beach
                            Torrey Pines
                            Winged Foot
                            Pinehurst No. 2
                            Shinnecock
                            Congressional

                            PGA Championship:
                            Bethpage Black
                            Kiawah Island
                            Whistling Straits
                            Quail Hollow
                            Valhalla
                            Atlantic Athletic
                            Oak Hill

                            The Open:
                            St. Andrews
                            Royal Troon
                            Royal Birkdale
                            Carnoustie
                            Royal St. George's
                            Royal Lytham & St. Anne's
                            Royal Liverpool

Anything else would just be a bonus.

I wonder how many courses you can have on your hard drive before you need to buy an external drive? On the one hand 2k keeping the courses on the server is a positive on the other hand a big negative if the servers are shut down. Just because the old games are still supported with the inclusion of 2k I would not count on this to continue forever.
