Which Tiger Woods game is most realistic and challenging?
Looking to play a TW game again. Does 14 have a camera angle that allows you to track the ball from the player perspective? I don't like the follow camera at all. Does it have 3 click swing?

Re: Which Tiger Woods game is most realistic and challenging?
I don't have many of the old TW games to check out...the only ones I still have around anymore are TW 12 and TW 14 for X360.
I know in TW 14, you could turn all the aids off, turn off the scout cam, and have the swing mechanic force you to move the stick diagonally to hit a shot properly. I played using those settings one time at TPC Sawgrass, and shot 90-something.Orbis Non SuficitComment

No 3-click on TW13 and 14. The others before had 3-click only at the easier mode like amateur or beginner. They all have an option other than follow-cam. Some better than other, TW10 and TW13 have a very good presentation camera. TW11 has True aim and golfer perspective all the way from what I remember. TW12 has the pesky caddy. TW 13 is definitely challenging at the harder setting but putting feel unrealistic, it's just hard. I feel like I'm jabbing at the ball instead of a putting stroke. TW14 sim mode is the most challenging, it's forcing you with a diagonal swing to hit a draw or fade with your longer shots. You either love it or hate it.Comment

13 and 14 are pretty decent the rest while some might like the gameplay are tough to look at graphics wise. Never a big fan of 12 some claim the putting is much better in 10 maybe 11. The older games are just kinda ugly now.Comment

There is no 3-click option in Tiger 14.
Tiger 14 is easily the most challenging game of the series if you go with what I think they call the "Simulation" difficulty level. What makes that mode so tough is you have to execute a diagonal motion with the swing stick to hit the ball, in essence, straight. I'll admit it was difficult, but it felt so counterintuitive to go diagonal for a straight shot, even on pitches and chips, that it never appealed to me.
My favorite of the Tiger Series is 13, followed closely by 10. I liked the True-Aim camera in 13, but Tiger 10 had the best putting interface of them all and it also had some great camera cuts using the broadcast camera, especially on putts.Duke Football? Sounds like they're going to be coming out with some new type of online multiplayer competition next month. I'm curious to see what they come out with, but I'm not expecting miracles. I'd be happy if they'd just provide an option to disable vsync on the XBox version. I don't know why they didn't throw that in there when they added the option for a 60 Hz vsync That would be the way I'd go with my Series X, although I'd have to buy a new HDTV that was capable of supporting variable refresh rate. Truth be known, I'm just looking for an excuse to buy one!Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach CutcliffeComment

Re: Which Tiger Woods game is most realistic and challenging?
i'm playing TW 2004 and 2005 on PCSX2 i think 2004 is better. I also have 2K21 and many other top golf games. IMO TW 2004 is more complete golf game and very enjoyable today. I think TW 2004 is even better than 2K21. Playing against the unlockable golfers is good stuff. If you want 3 click on PC, TW 2008, Links 2001 or 2003.Comment
