I usually skipped the flyover, and I skip the pre shot animation. The zoom to target is enough for me

Not gonna say I watched it on every hole but it was nice to have on some of the more interesting courses.

Hilariously, it seems that HB/2K have re-released Season 2 of the Clubhouse Pass - the one with Titleist and FootJoy items. They're totally going against the whole point of a season pass system, as first they allowed these items to be purchased via VC once Season 2 ended. And now, by re-releasing it, they are taking away the supply/demand part of it.

It's obvious they're doing this in conjunction with the game going for free to PS Plus members starting today. Again, squeezing the fruit until that very last drop.

As long as EA does half as good as 2K, Once it comes out I will hardly ever touch a HB golf game again.

My daughter didn't last a full day with this game, and think it's garbage. She said the control are not user friendly and she can't get a golfer close to what she looks like, contrary to TW14. Even with the smallest she could have her golfer, she thought she looked fat. HB/2K have a long way to get that younger crowd. Oh,and she thinks the graphic are no better than TW14 either.

I don’t blame her...she’s comparing to one of the best (if not the best) and most complete golf games ever made.

In many areas (not all), TW14 is the gold standard

All I want in a golf game is TW14 on frostbite engine with good presentation.

Hope EA can deliver in springtime.

My feelings are basically the same with one exception.

I’d like a swing that requires a little bit more effort off the tee.

It didn’t matter what level I was playing on, it was comically easy to just stripe it down the middle…basically automatically… in TW14

Yeah, I will say that one thing PGA 2K21 seems to get close to right is the difficulty of the swing. It's actually hard to hit a dead-center straight shot, which it absolutely should be since that's the primary challenge in golf.

I have some issues with how the swing mechanism translates into on-screen shots, but in general, I like that it's far from certain on any given swing that you'll hit a good shot.

That may well be true, but for right now, I'm having trouble consistently hitting good shots on Pro. But I do look forward to moving the difficulty up as I improve.
