2k23 questions

I had the 21 version and really enjoyed the gameplay and I'm looking to get this years version but have a few questions.

I it really play offline career mode.

Is the scoreboard issue and standings problem fixed ? In the last game you could play a tournament and the standings would change when you played the next round. So a player who finished round 1 at 4 under would suddenly appear at 1 over to start round 2. And career standings and prize money standings would change every time you switched on.

When you play a tournament do you have to have women golfers in an event ? Would seem strange to play a PGA event with both men and women golfers competing and kill immersion a bit.

The scoreboard issue has not come up for me yet. I hesitate to say it's "fixed", as I've only played several events and it's a small sample size. But I have not seen it pop up in 2K23 yet.

Yes, the 3 LPGA golfers in the game do play in the career mode events. You see their names on the scoreboard, and will see their highlights if you have those turned on.

Good that the scoreboard glitch seems to be fixed as that made career mode pointless last year. Really don't see why they'd put the LPGA pros into events though just makes it unrealistic.

Agreed on the unrealistic part. I think the whole idea is that they paid for the license to show the LPGA players, and had no way to show them realistically since they don't have the LPGA license or a specific career mode for female players.

Therefore, they just incorporated the LPGA pros into the PGA Tour career. They also use the LPGA players as rivals in career mode, too. So they kind of have to be there based on that alone, just based on the design of how 2K does the career mode.
