IDK, but I'd imagine they'd be able to find who this was quite easily and shut it down if they wanted.Orbis Non SuficitComment

At least we have less than 24 hours until the career mode overview!Orbis Non SuficitComment

I'm betting the career deep dive won't be long at all. When scrolling through, on my phone it attempted to play, showing 3:20 video. So I'm guessing that is what the length of the deep dive will be.Attached FilesLast edited by Hilldog39; 03-20-2023, 11:17 AM.LETS GO EAGLES

I assume the video will be accompanied by a longer blog post on their website, like they did with both gameplay and courses...that seems more like what the "deep dive" component has been for these info drops.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Actually in truth there are a TON of "partners" involved in a project like this and they have to create some order in the disseminating of information. So like a sponsor like BadBirdie needs to know when they can start posting on their various feeds and what not.
Just saying there is a lot going behind the scenes that the average gamer doesn't realize.Comment

Yes - obviously
I'm just venting -- ridiculous to do this all with so little time left
Could have been building excitement for a while now

Obviously there are many ways to build hype and it seems EA's may be a bit frustrating to those of us who actually are already excited.Comment

Re: EA Sports PGA Tour Delayed to April 7, Early Access April 4
The excitement for me would be so much higher if I knew how much different better/different the gameplay is from Rory
(assuming it is at all)
I'm sort of hoping that leaker might give some more details on the gameplayComment

I just re-looked at the EA website, and it seems "Social" is an online mode that allows you to play against similarly skilled players online in a more relaxed unranked environment, offering multiple ways to play such as 9 and 18 hole rounds.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: EA Sports PGA Tour Delayed to April 7, Early Access April 4
I understand. It seems people are leaning on fearing the worst as the reason it is not being shown when in fact it can actually be related to a number of other, including positive, factors.
I can guarantee you without any shred of doubt that the devs are literally dying to show off the game to everyone. But it's not the devs call on when gameplay drops...marketing is an entirely different department, as is EA's legal team. Showing off any gameplay is something scheduled, managed, and signed off on by quite a few different people when it comes to a corporation as large as Electronic Arts.
I would bet that any of us out there that have worked for large companies can understand what actually happens often doesn't make a lick of sense to the laymen. If we did have a complete picture then most of us would understand the how's and why's a bit better. Not that it would make the wait that much easier.
Point is, don't default to assume the worst (not saying you are, just seen other's jump to that conclusion).Comment
