PGA coaching challenge not working

I’m trying to do the basic challenges in PGA Coaching and it’s not recording my results. I was able to do the swing basics a couple days ago but now I’m trying the approach shots and it’s not giving me the stars. I’ve landed all 5 balls like 3 times and it’s giving me nothing. Anybody else having this issue?

The latest patch has broken something. Everyone having issues.

Problem is the game has to be online so when they have server issues we all suffer.

I was going through the challenges and noticed it would record some results and not others. Finally realized that the desired short type for the challenge was not selected by default and I was taking the wrong shot. Don't know if that's your issue or if there's a newly introduced problem. Just seemed odd to me that if the challenge required a certain shot type that you'd have to manually select it yourself.

The patch they sent out today broke some things including challenges. They've fixed some of the issues but not challenges. They've provided an update on it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/EASportsPGA...updates_today/
