Saw a lot of legends at this course over the years and some up and coming talent. Plus, it would be cool to see my house in a game on Hole 6 green and tee box of 7... =)
It's no problem gsize, I should've mentioned it in the title or something lol. But it's funny you bring up Rivers Bend as I was just peaking at some TPC courses the other day and Rivers Bend is just so beautiful. And an Arnold Palmer track too? That's too cool. Also really awesome that you essentially live on the course! They should automatically make you a member (if you aren't one already) lol.

      Yes we are members...
If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.

This game is great. Can’t believe some of the poor reviews

Yes indeed, I'm with you Moe. I'm enjoying it as well and I especially love the courses they selected for the game and how they look visually. Sure there are things needing tweaks, like making it easier to match up with more players online instead of just one or two others most of the time. And of course, 60 fps but other than that, it's a really fun game IMO.

It's been in several of the old EA golf games, dating back to Tiger Woods 2004. But would always be a welcome addition.

As a Wisconsinite, I would second the requests of Erin Hills and Sand Valley's current (and upcoming) courses getting added into the game.

I would also add the following:

                - Cypress Point (total pipe dream)
                - Pine Valley (see above)
                - Sand Hills
                - Ballybunion
                - Winged Foot (West)
                - Cabot Cliffs
                - Ballyneal
                - the rest of the Bandon courses

I was great when the US Open was here in 2013 - there is a road that goes right through the course which my wife and I took to a train station everyday at the time. You can see a couple holes from the road. I was so cool watching the course and area slowly change - the grandstands going up, the sponsor tents and other areas being built. But the best was seeing the course itself change. Rough and overgrown area got noticeably higher.

Why does everyone care so much about Pine Valley when you can't even play the course. Most overrated piece of land in the world.

I mean, you could say the same about Augusta - unless you're extremely well connected.

I kind of think that's the point. A video game would be the only way we mere mortals could ever find ourselves teeing it up at exclusive clubs like Pine Valley or Augusta National.

And I will. Augusta is great for one week a year when the Masters roll around. The rest kind of suck. I don't think any golf course should be in the conversation for best in the world if it's been privatized to the point where a regular person can never realistically play it even if they try.

Anyway, to answer the article, I'd add Erin Hills to the list. More former major venues so that EA can implement the rotational system in career mode again.

Yeah, Erin Hills is a popular pick...been mentioned several times in the thread, and would be a good-looking track to get into the game.

And since I live less than an hour from it, I agree with getting it in the game even more!

I'll give myself a bailout and admit that super-private courses like Augusta, Pine Valley and Cypress Point are still objectively good courses even if they go criminally underused. And for the sake of authenticity I would vouch for Monterey Peninsula Shore to be added, so that the Pebble Beach Pro-Am in game can use the real life 3-course setup (this of course would require Spyglass Hill first, so maybe a stretch goal after this years major venues are put in the EA game).

And not gonna lie, I'm kinda kicking myself for not including Erin Hills because I love it very much. Beautiful place, fun design.

These are great courses for sure. I do agree that it is a shame that here in the States, so many of these great tracks are as private and underused as they are. Thank goodness for places like Pebble (although expensive), Bethpage, Erin Hills, Chambers, and Torrey.

Also, agree about completing the pro-am 3 course setup with Monterey Peninsula Shore. I was thinking the same thing
