EA PGA Tour ROG Ally settings

Here are the settings I'm using on the ROG ally. Mostly smooth gameplay and cut scenes with very little draw in or pop up.

Took me awhile to figure out so thought I'd share.

This is in turbo mode.

Edit..... Thanks to F34RTEHR34PER YouTube video. He discovered the game actually performs better at 1080p 30fps than it does at 720p 30fps. Still the same settings with that change and the game plays really well. Still a hiccup here or there but very playable and enjoyable.

This may sound silly but I'd like to hear your impressions using the ROG Ally with the 720P settings with graphical settings changes listed above vs using the ROG Ally streaming from your PC in 1080P (using Moonlight or Steam Link--I think Moonlight is better). This is assuming you have a PC that runs it well in 1080P and good home internet.

You would obviously gain a little lag using streaming but pick up graphical fidelity. I'd just really be interested in how each would feel in comparison in that device and display.

I have a 4080 laptop and I used moonlight on steam deck all the time but I haven't tried it yet on the Ally.

It worked really well on the deck so I'm assuming it would here as well and I'm guessing it's awesome.

The 2 things that have blown me away about the Ally(other than performance is the screen and the sound.

I'll post impressions once I try it.

The RPCS3 emulation on the Ally is outstanding. NCAA 14 runs owesome. I have officially retired my Steam Deck.

I'm also a NCAA basketball legacy fan and it's flawless on the Ally. Unplayable on the steam deck.

I had every intention of keeping my steam deck but I just don't see why id ever use it again.

I've actually been playing NHL legacy a lot on my ally lately. It works great 1080p 60fps.

Took some tweaking of settings but I have a great set. Let me know if you get and I'll share.

Can I ask what tweeks (if any} you made for NCAA 14? Just got my ally and threw it on here without any changes and its running fine except the field is black.. any ideas?

EDIT: Never mind, simple restart did the trick. I'll still be keeping my deck for any games that require a mouse since analog + touch screen just isn't cutting it but this will definitely be my device for PS3 emulation and any games that can't work on the deck. Powerful little device this is

I just got one myself. Enjoying it so far, once I disabled the macro buttons. Too easy to accidentally hit them. I liked the steam deck too but too many work arounds needed for some games.
