PGA Tour 2K23 Patch 1.20 Available Today - Patch Notes

The official PGA 2K Discord channel just released the patch notes for the upcoming v1.20 update.

No release date was announced for the patch, other than that it "will be released soon".

Just found out from an HB employee on Discord that the patch will be releasing today (Dec. 6) at 8 a.m. PST.

EDIT - patch is downloading for me now on PS5. It's 8.36 GB. Sounds like the patch adds themes and textures used on real-life courses in-game to the course designer, so course creators can now use the textures seen at Pinehurst, Renaissance Club, Pebble, Spyglass, Payne's Valley, Wilmington and St. George's.

Played earlier this morning no update on either console. Just fired up the game now and I see 1.21.

Yeah, I don't know how their number conventions work...mine shows it as version 1.022.000?

I'm kind of wishing they would do something that I'm hoping EA will eventually do (but probably won't), to make me more interested in going back to playing 2k. The ability to have a slider or whatever to speed up or slow down the animation speed of the swing. 2k now seems hyper whipsaw fast and EA is too slow and sludgy.

They let you choose your swing "profile" or type, how hard can it be to simply adjust the speed of the animation of the swing? It seems to me that would be kind of a "macro" adjustment option that would apply specifically to the speed of the framerate or whatever of every shot across the board, and not require specialized or individual "micro" tuning and a ton of development hours?

          What do you guys think?

I’m fine with the swing speeds in both games. Ea’s doesn’t bother me as much since performance mode released.

God only knows what 2k would break if they starting messing with the speed of the animations. How about more clothes for the caddies?
