PGA 2K23 -- Revisiting Frame Rate and Mouse Swing

I may be repeating something brought out a while back, but in case this is "new" information for some (well, especially the PC users for 2K23), it might rekindle a strong liking for this game again. Personally, I uninstalled it after the consistent inconsistency of the swing stick on a controller. I know I wasn't the greatest (and frankly, was really pissed off after building up a player somewhat, only to find him deleted by 2K one day), but I didn't think my swing was that inconsistent at given times based on the feedback.

But EA was leaving things a bit short in some respects, so I thought I would try to make some adjustments and get some tips/feedback when I ran across this. Maybe some of you had seen this by now, especially you K21 players (which I bought, but never really go into with Perfect Golf around):

Stable Tempo Guide for mouse and joystick

For the AMD Radeon card users, it became necessary to install Adrenalin Edition Version 23.9.1 as higher versions are broken, in order to get frame rate stabilized for testing at different levels. Right now I'm with the author and trying things with mouse swing (Razer Viper 8K) on slightly over 90 fps.

I also abandoned using pros and went back to MyPlayer but without upgrading anything .... only setting the player type. Grinding ain't my thing. Well actually, it was also to try other golf balls only.

Presently staying on the Pro level with most every visual aid turned off is plenty challenging. Breaking 80 at Augusta even with more mediocre speeds is difficult, as it should be. But the bottom line is that it feels like my swing tempos, both good and bad are properly rewarded or punished, accordingly.

I'm hoping to move up to Master in due time. I think Legend is just way too much for me, even with a free swinging mouse. More to come......

Small addendum: there is something to this frame rate thing. I'm set in the low 90s fps and making sure I'm calibrating my wired 8bitdo controller every so often. Things were feeling pretty straight generally consistently on Pro, so I went up to Masters level to test things out. I was able to hit a 75 on The Elevens Club with fairly fast greens and mild to moderate winds, helped by only 1 bogey on the back 9 and the rest pars. I did miss 2 relatively easy birdie putts. I might have been able to break par if my GIR would've been better. FIR was pretty realistic.

Almost wondering if this is a bit of a cheat now and I should try this on 60fps to compare, at least, the "feel."
