2K23 * Possible pre-round ritual to help with swing consistency

Somewhat related to other thread about frame rate is something I started to do in prep to play a round (I don't do career). Recently went back to playing on Pro, but will consider going back to Master. Locked it in at 90 fps. My 8bitdo wired controller has some play to it, so errant shots are very possible, as it should be.

After I do the 10 shot calibration, I stay at the driving range, place the swing into "practice mode" and then purposely try to swing straight down and then to 9 o'clock, then again to 3 o'clock (as this may help with further calibrating):

Then, I go into swing mode and do practically a double swing, making sure I don't hesitate. I've found thinking too long before hitting the ball usually gets me into trouble, especially with this controller being less than forgiving:

I also have started to not worry about slowing my backswing down, which is tough to gauge, and worry more about coming through with the right pace. Also, when I come through, I flick forward versus a purposeful pushing to the maximum (12 o'clock). Seems to help with a truer line.

Keep in mind, this is with a MyPlayer with zero enhancements. Not messing with that any more only to lose it again. Instead, just bought balls with good back spin.

Liking this "method" so far. Recently broke 80 at Jacobson Homestead (default settings). FIR and GIR need to go up, but finding more consistency overall on Master difficulty setting (no player upgrades).
