This news apparently came out last October, but I didn't see it until today. As of tomorrow, Jan. 16, 2025, online functions of EA's Rory McIlroy PGA Tour will no longer work:

Somebody mentioned it on another message board a while ago, I went there just before XMas and the game is dead. I couldn't join a game online which was not surprising to me at all.

The article mentioned it will be impossible for fans to get all achievements and trophies anymore. It has been this way for a very long time, daily and weekly tournaments have stopped working years ago.

That's officially a wrap for ol' Rory McIlroy PGA Tour. Gotta say; although it was a bare bones experience, I still had a lot of fun playing online and played it all the time. Also the courses looked beautiful too. Salute to RM PGA Tour.

Got it for $12 when it had significantly more courses than it did at launch. Probably the best value for a golf game I've ever gotten.
