I’m sorry the game has been out a week and you are already maxed out. That is not a grind.

This is not a knock on you btw, it’s just funny because in the old days, getting a maxed out player would take weeks to months. So it’s just funny to me that you did it in just over a week. Just proves that 2k did in fact make it too easy to level up. But again, it’s awesome that you put in the work for that in a short space of time.

With all the extra stuff that came with the Legends edition, it was very simple. One round tournaments, AI on easy, 30% XP boost, simple.

That’s my point. You did the right thing. 2k botched this whole release by making it too easy and then “fixing it” by making it way too hard.

I know we’re fired up about the VC but that aside - has anyone suffered some crashes right after making your final putt on 18?

First time happened after making a non important par save on 18. Game completely crashed. Had to power down all the way. When I resumed and it took me back, it brought me back to 18 for a tap in bogey.

Again no huge loss there - still got everything for the round I would have gotten.

Second time it happened was the last putt of the second round in a tourney I wasn’t going to make the cut for. Drained a long eagle putt.

This time though, after it crashed, when I resumed it showed me as a DS for the entire tournament and I got no rewards for that round at all. Don’t think I lost anything important but no stats from that round saved (again no loss lol).

Just worried about it happening in a way that matters.

Happened twice, both times yesterday. TPC Scottsdale and then Pebble. PS5

I don't think they botched anything they knew what they were doing let the early adopters bask in easy grinding and leveling because they basically paid for it then turn the vc grab on to suck as much money as they can out of everybody else.

I have to commend the devs for making Oakmont a legit beast in this game.

Had my first go-round at the US Open in MyCareer. Finished at +11 for the event, with an 81 in round one.

Sadly, it's all business... and it's not like anybody else is going to make a new golf game looking like a sim in the future. It's ALL 2K. Like it's all 2K for NBA too.

The game plays perfectly fine with a 70 OVR golfer in Legend Difficulty.

It’s not a level playing field though, you have to pay good money to compete with others. Really I’d prefer a 70 OVR Lobby but that’s not going to happen because it doesn’t encourage VC spend.

Fixed is subjective and assumes it’s broken. I wouldn’t assume that.
