Is there a decent overview of putting / chipping / pitch elevation adjustment math and rollout distances?

I'm really struggling to figure it out. E.g., 20' putt that is 5" downhill = what distance should I be going with to roll the ball 20'?

The method I've been going with for approach and putting is for elevation every 3 feet of elevation is a yard you add/take off your carry distance, and for putting every inch is a foot you add/take off your aim distance. If you have a habit of a rhythm that adds or loses distance from your shot you should change your aim accordingly. I'm not totally sure on my habits for short game, for chipping I think I usually aim about a third of the distance to the hole, but that really depends on the slopes I'm dealing with. For pitches maybe I'm aiming half or more of the distance.

So I went ahead and created an Operation Sports Society. Idk if cross play is enabled or whatever but I’m on the PS5.

We can tweak the difficulty restrictions as we’ll see fit.

Yeah I saw. I think the feature is a little bugged because I have to restart the PS5 as well as the game to keep the tally going .

Guess I'm gonna have to reinstall! Anyone else having this problem? 3 times now my game has locked up and the only way to get back into the game is to uninstall and install!

Having the same or similar problem. Game freezes on Xbox a lot. I have not been able to play a multiplayer game, as it freezes right away And, not long after being in a party on Xbox live, the game will freeze, but it freezes at other random times not related to xbox as well. The last time it froze was when someone sent me a message that I responded to it.

I have quit the game at the home menu, and got it to restart a few times but most of the times it will still be frozen. I have had success with quitting the game on the Xbox home menu and then restarting the console. I can get back into my round just fine, but the issues of freezing are still there.

I also uninstalled the game, and then downloaded and reinstalled it. That did not help. Same issues were still present.

Submitted a ticket at 2k.

Hopefully, they will fix it it quickly. My favorite way to play is multiplayer online, alt shot, with others in an Xbox live party.

Having the same issue on Xbox. This is brutal

Same here... locked the game up twice trying to join the Operation Sports Society. It took me seven tries to get a society created on my XBox earlier today. It then crashed twice during event creation. I finally got to create and play an event, but it crashed after I viewed the final stats for the round and tried to go back to the main menu.

They confirmed that the Pebble Beach Pro-Am and Farmers Insurance Open are limited to Pebble and Torrey South respectively, would really love for them to eventually get those to work akin to real life. I'll have to find a tournament to place Torrey North in.

In 2K23, I used Torrey North for an event called something like the "Northern Shore Open". It had "North" in the name, so it worked for me...haha

I've also joined in the OS Society...I do have a different screen name than here.

But even then doing the above already quite often it still refused to load back up and had to re install

I was doing so well on Q-School on Legend, -1 thru 8 on the final round, then I slowly started falling apart. Fell back to +3 thru 15, and then completely crashed out the last 3 holes, not worth mentioning my final score Even with a Technician (72 ovr at the time), Legend can still make you hate life if you're not careful.
